H.Upmann Magnum 56 Edicion Limitada 2015 vs. H.Upmann Connoisseur A

Hey Guys,

Decisions, Decisions.

I really like the H.Upmann Connoisseur A but I have never smoked a H.Upmann Magnum 56 Edicion Limitada 2015.  

For those of you how had smoked both is the H.Upmann Magnum 56 Edicion Limitada 2015 worth twice the price of the H.Upmann Connoisseur A?

Meaning if you were buying, would you buy one box of the H.Upmann Magnum 56 Edicion Limitada 2015 or buy two boxes of the H.Upmann Connoisseur A?

When I was in that position, I opted for the single box of the Magnum 56.  It was truly an exception cigar, and although the Connoisseur A is fantastic in its own right, I also figured that I could easily pick them up in the future.

It's not really a choice anymore because the availability of the 2015 H.Upmann Magnum 56 EL has peaked and very soon it will be unavailable, if it's not so already. Hence, if you can actually source some Magnum 56 then I'd buy up while you can.

I would pick two of either the mag 50, mag 46 or Connie 1 IMHO.  I have had decent Connie A but nothing better than the ones previously mentioned.  The magnum 56 I have smoked were just OK as well, and far to large of a ring gauge.

I'd get one box of the 56 while you can to enjoy on occasion after letting them age a bit but buy a couple of the Connie A's as a regular cigar to smoke.

I have boxes of both and while I enjoy both, if I had only $600 to spend and those were my only choices, I'd go for the two boxes of Connie A without hesitation.

For me, the Mag 56 wasn't worth one tenth the Connie A. YMMV

To my tastes (for what it's worth  ), I enjoyed the Mag 56's much more than the Connie A. The 56 was very flavorful, while the A's I have smoked were "eh".

I enjoy the Mag 56 more than the Connie A despite its larger size. If you can get a box of 56’s at a sensible price then I would pick one up before they are gone. 

That being said the Connie A is definitely an excellent smoke. If you can only get a box of 56’s at an inflated price then I would happily pick up the A’s.

I like 56 more now since 2 years those have been released. didn't like them much before. Glad to have enough boxes of 56.

It shouldn’t be an option to consider bro. Since Mag 56 is running really low now and A you could get at anytime. Go for 56 now, I mean..asap
