Graceland Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I always feel a renewal this time of year. Hey Ken! What's your thoughts on your team this year? I predict a Raider ass kicking lol
Buck14 Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I'd like to see the Commisioner of the NFL grow some balls for once and permanently ban any piece of s$it player that refuses to stand for the national anthem. I turned the game off after the anthem. Disgusting display of unpatriotic hatred and bigotry by several members of the Raiders and some members of the 'Skins by sitting and kneeling during the anthem. Shame on them. Just disgusting.
Graceland Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 watch your mouth son..... we don't do that here
CrankYanker Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Last time the Raiders were good they got blown out in the Super Bowl
Graceland Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 true that...... beginning of the Patriot dynasty *** edited**** they were good before that too
Ken Gargett Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 yep, raiders were involved in an ass-whipping. i like to think i am realistic and even cynical about the skins, even if they play well. but that score so flatters the raiders. could have been 50-0. the only way that raiders side is going to the superbowl is if they buy tickets now. best performance by the skins since the beat the cowgirls in the last game of the season in rg3's first year.
CrankYanker Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I don't think the Raiders even had 100 total yards. That was a bad game to watch. My team the Colts are on next Sunday night.

Graceland Posted September 25, 2017 Author Posted September 25, 2017 your skins played well Ken no denying that, Oakland was simply out matched

anacostiakat Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Must admit a happily unexpected win! Hope is eternal.
Danimalia Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 What in the hell was that? An absolutely inept showing by the Raiders. Maybe they bought into the hype with their "unstoppable" offense a bit too much. Washington straight up killed them in every aspect of the game. And again this year, as was to been every year since Reggie McKenzie signed on, the raiders can't cover tight ends or running backs, and the middle of the field is wide open. The Raiders had Zach Brown in for a FA visit this offseason, but I guess they didn't think they could use a pro bowl linebacker who addresses their biggest weakness. Congratulations to Washington. They played a great game. They were super impressive. Lord I hate to see Dan Snyder happy, though.
alloy Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Go Skins!!! At least for one game the O and the D came together and played like they are supposed to.

As a neutral fan I like close nail biter games so it didn't interest me much to watch as the skins took off early.

CigarAsh Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 I thoroughly enjoy any time the Raiders get humbled by anyone. I've hated the Raiders since I was a kid as does any true Kansas City fan. Ken - watch out for next week. Washington at the Chiefs for Monday night. For once, I'm actually getting excited about my Chiefs chances to do something other than limp into the playoffs and roll over meekly for whomever they play.

CigarAsh Posted September 25, 2017 Posted September 25, 2017 Haven't seen the Skins play this year, but I've read the defense is pretty damn good. Will be a good test for the Chiefs. The most dynamic offense I've seen the Chiefs run in a long time. They have some real game breaking talent on offense - lots of big plays and lots of points. Something I never thought I'd see with Alex Smith as our QB.

Your optimisim is overwhelming, ya' bum. Seriously though, Kirk is super streaky and under the magnifying glass. So, too, the team. I fully expect an ass whoopin' Monday night, but such is life when a fan of the 'skins. Curious that the team is getting such a strong showing on the TV schedule, though. Perhaps a sign the "powers that be" see some reason for us to be optimistic?
