sub-editors. who refuse to let you look at the thing before it is printed. most sub-editors should not be allowed to breath. or be fed. most are wannabee socialites filling in time till some rich idiot marries them. most could not recite the alphabet.

they used the same pic two columns in a row. not the first time this has happened to me. back when i did the paper, brian croser was pictured with his wines and then with his wines the next week for a completely different producer.

i remember once ringing my editor at the courier mail to point out that the date on the front page of the paper was incorrect. who gets that wrong. the response was 'not again!'.
