:D  To suggest. Probably could have been said better. I'm looking at my stock and realize I need to order a few. I like the RYJ Wide Church Hills, Hoyo Epicure 2 & Especial, P D4, San Cristobal La Fuerza. However, these guys are a little short. I find myself having to light 2-3 cigars for my sitting. I have also found I am really getting into the thinner guage (40-50) double coronas and also finding the mild-medium more enjoyable lately. Also looking at nice long Churchill as a longer burn. Anyone got any suggestions for something in stock?

My top choice of '16 production is the Boli CG, although tough to find.

In stock, RyJ Churchills might fit what your looking for.

I was eyeballing those and Punch Punch. Any ideas about Hoyo?

Punch Punch is a great corona gorda, but I wouldn’t really call it long. My humidor lacks longer sticks as well, but I do have a cab of Punch Punch, and they smoke about the same time as a robusto for me.

Any of the churchills or double coronas would definitely fit your metric; my personal standouts are RyJ Churchies (with rosado wrapper), RA Gigantes, HdM DC and the occasional Cohiba Esplendidos ($$$). Upmann SW tops all of those, but has been very HTF lately.

If you're getting into thin RG, the Trinidad Fundadores is an excellent option, though needs some aging for my taste.

I am typically a PC smoker, so when I want something to last 3 hours, i'll just smoke 2 back to back. Same with Minutos - I absolutely love smoking 2 RASCC or Partagas Shorts in a row!

Then there's these Carlos Fernandez custom "lanceros" - 8.5 x 40 rg of exquisite tobacco craftsmanship that last me over 3 hrs. I dream of HSA making this a regular release!

Went to a herf last weekend and really enjoyed departing from my PC habit. I chose a Grandes de Espana to start and then a Fundie...

I am glad you brought this up today. I think I am going to take in an older Lanceros! Nice day for it...

Good thinking!!! -Piggy

Fonseca no. 1's have shown up with good quality... something to consider.

Just realized you said "In Stock"... consider partagas Lusitania.

The recent Partagas Lusitanias have been exceptional, and you can get them in a 10 count box if you're hesitant.

Ramon Allones Gigantes

Cohiba Lanceros and Trinidad Fundadores have been available for a couple months but its almost a waste to smoke them in their first few years because they really open up with 4 or 5 years down.  With the premium price they demand I chose to rest them.

A lancero takes about as long to smoke as a double corona (wider cigar of the same length) because you need to go slower with a lancero to maintain a cool burn.

For me, cigars are about making time. If you can carve out the hour-and-a-half a larger stick requires, you'll be rewarded with the level of relaxation that only that long an episode can bring.

Perhaps cigars are only a flavor thing for you (and that's perfectly fine), but if you make the time work for you, I think you'll enjoy what it gives back.

How long of a smoke is a lancero?

Just my opinion, but the long ones are almost comical looking, especially to smoke.

I barely have the time to sit and enjoy a normal seegar, much less, one of an exaggerated lenghth. I find myself smoking them while weedeating and during other normal tasks, rarely just sitting.

Anymore it seems I can't find time to smoke a D.C. or Lanceros either, so I just enjoy them the same way you're describing.

Typical Lusitania for me lately--sit on the porch and smoke for about 20 min.  Go pick up sticks and such in the yard getting ready to mow and smoke for about another 20 min.  Have to go get lawnmower gas--20 more min of smoking (and yes I do leave cigar in car when getting the gas).  Mowing the yard for another 45 min of smoking.  Sit on porch again for 20 min smoking.  Smoking while trimming for 20 more minutes.  Sweep off grass and keep smoking.  Sit on porch again and finish cigar (or very close to it).  It's pretty enjoyable to have a cigar with you for the entire 2-2.5 hours of doing these things rather than smoke a Robusto for an hour. Exception is if I have something really really nice I want to take the time to sit and relax and enjoy--then I'll make the time.

One of my favorite, milder habanos.  These are great with a morning cup of coffee or two...or anytime you are looking for something with a little less "umph".  Creamy.  Been keeping an eye out for El Prez to get some of these in stock and put some on a 24:24.  (HINT HINT)
