You have good friends coming in for the first time.  They arrived late last night and you are picking them up at 8am. You have them until late in the night. 

One day is never enough but they want to experience your hometown and you want to put something special together. 

Show us your hometown. Put together how you would do it for us. 

Put together your one day itinerary and head into the draw for a 5 pack of cigars drawn Friday. There will be 5 samplers/winners drawn by Greg. 

Maximum number of itineraries per person is two. 

One ticket per itinerary. Two tickets per itinerary if photo's added!

My town is really small. So my 1 day tour would consist of taking them to the driving range and ordering a couple of pitchers. We'd pass out before the day is over.

I guess if you're wiling to drive an hour outside of the town there's like Napa Valley or the Golden Gate Bridge or something.

But man I gotta tell you I'm really fond of that driving range and the pitchers they let you bring on the range to drink. That's really the highlight of the Bay Area.

I live in a tourist town. Rapid City, South Dakota. 

Day 1. Drop your stuff and lets hit the badlands for a couple hours and then Head to Keystone for some old time Photos, Lunch, Drive Through Custer State Park wildlife loop and Needles Highway on the way to Crazy Horse and Mount Rushmore and end the day in Hill City at Prairie Berry Winery on their deck smoking a cigar.

Day option 2, Light drive north through Spearfish canyon and checkout Roughlock Falls and The Devils Bathtub and community caves.  Cross the border into Wyoming to Sundance and run up to Devils tower for a hike around the tower. On the way back, stop in Deadwood for the gunfighters and beer before heading near the town of Rochford for a dive bar known as Moonshine Gulch Saloon for a few more beers. On the return to Rapid City hit my Favorite spot the Tinderbox in Rapid CIty for some stogeez.

Those some bad lands up there mate! Spent some time that way many years ago. Beautiful country. This one should go into the pot even though not a separate thread.
