I'll be spending my Saturday in the machine shop working on the old car… Lots of things to do. Lots of things to clean. Lots of things to reassemble.

Sunday I will be recuperating and getting ready to start the week all over again

Heading to a friends place for 3 days, on an island on edge of Lake Ontario....Cant wait! Long weekend up here.Have a huge stash of cigars ready, will be great ,its right on the water.

Painting a room, mowing a lawn and throwing back a Dark & Stormy or four. Not necessarily in that order.

For me, the beach will have to wait a couple more weeks.

I'll be putting my feet up and spinning some records in my man cave.

For the last several months, all of our spare time (excepting a three week tour of Cape York last month) and some of my work time has been spent helping my Mother in law move out of her home of 50 years. She is a chronic hoarder so it has been a painful and arduous process. Property settles today, and thank f##k for that. I have earned a rest. And several cigars.

Heading to Big Sky Saturday.  Be there for a week.  Wife is going to a legal conference.  We will hit Yellowstone and do some hiking.  

Nothing like smoking a good cigar in the wide open spaces.

Played in club/pub bands for years until it started to clash too much with being off late from the day job, I do miss it, was hilarious fun. You cannot beat arriving somewhere on a Sunday afternoon to be told you are on before the bingo to deflate ones ideas of rock stardom ??

My last band was a Foo Fighters tribute act, probably the most fun I ever had with guitar in hand.  I now have a Gibbo Lee Paul and an Explorer sat doing nothing for the last 12 years or so, perhaps it's time to offload them and buy some more cigars ??

What's the name of the band and where are you playing?

Had an electrician in today to replace all my old halogen downlights (41 in total) with new LED ones. Good thing I did it, after seeing the condition of my halogen transformers. Some even caused scorch marks on the wooden ceiling beams.

Laying tile in our kitchen, dining area. I have most of the full tiles down, so I will be renting a wet saw next weekend.  I need to mow my backyard too.
