The size is right in my zone (48x 147) and boxes of 10. Let's see how the pricing plays out. I will post them up end of next week. There will be enough for all members (over the course of the next 8 w

My guess USD 88,88 8888 boxes, it is called 88. Would be fitting but I guess this is more wishfull thinking Regards Lars Gesendet von iPhone mit Tapatalk

Based on your disclosure, US$250? My guess is they'll retail for around $220us a box $190 USD is my guess I'm gonna say $250USD. I wouldn't be surprised if they are even $275USD.

I am with you Zaney. I figure 165.00 and by the time they land in Oz, my brothers there will have to pay $1888 AUD... The shape makes them look more 'dangerous' and perhaps they need a 'special danger' tax!

I like RG cigars. If these were $8 bucks a piece, I would be interested. As it is I can smoke a likely superior RGCE for a fraction of the cost and don't have to wait.

  • Given what recent RE have been priced at, I'm going to guess USD 220/box.
  • I would expect $290 to $300 a box
  • $229 for a box of 10...
  • $275-$350 / box

You're the very clients HSA is aiming at... lol.

By the way - a great way to analyse the market before the pricing has finally been fixed... :lol3:

Goo... You left me out of the equation! I don't really care what they are priced at if it is over 8 bucks a stick!!! -LOL

Now that I think about it some, considering what Tabacuba has been doing to cheat on tobacco, with a 30% under-fill rate, I will revise my value at $5.60 a stick!!!

LOL to be honest, @PigFish, at that price I'm not sure if I will buy any!

I'm trying to save up for a cab of Punch DC's before the cabs are gone for good.

But if I do get some I'll send you one for sure :D

I was going say that to after I thought about the price a bit more.  $188.88 Way to much for RG's

Ray--if it ends up being $165 a box I will send you a 5er.  If they're under $8 a stick you have to change your handle to PigBird...deal?  :D

Should be sub 150, five years ago they would've been lucky to get more than $110 a box.

I am sure you are right that there will be plenty for all here since they will actually try to get 175+ for them.

Boxes of 10 aren't they?

RG88 - 48 x 137.  RA Club Allones - 47 x 135.   Factor in the LE premium for CA and the cachet of the RA brand compared to RG.   Conversely, factor in 1 year's worth of price increase and the Brit Extra vitola's "fanciness".  RG88 should still be priced at appreciably less than the CA, and certainly no more than current CA prices.

Having said that, i still vote $188.  The mystic power of the prosperous 8 will be too much for David Tang's crew to resist.

Hope these go up today - I'll take 2 boxes.

One - so I can try one ROTT the other for keeping.

Actually, I wasn't so sure as to whether I should or not... lol. :D

To put it into perspective, as @rckymtn22 mentioned, the only other RG Regional (50 x 127, coming with just one tapered end, so a comparable amount of tobacco but a bit easier to roll) had been about USD 108 (2014), but that's including ALL taxes (tobacco-tax, VAT)! Problem is - there is an increasing amount of buy-ups now from international buyers (I dare not say flippers), so Regional's pricing that had been previously cognizant of the markets they were being released to, is steadily being adjusted for that as it seems.

The 88 is an attractive cigar, no question about that! But the price has to be right. A duty-free pricing around USD 110 I would consider fair, above 140 is forbidding. Now, after this thread here, at least we can be sure they won't come cheap. :P

Folks seem to slowly lose touch to ground.... so be it. Quite like you, I know exactly with what to stock up ...
