What are you planning to buy this year?

Inventory is pretty set for the next few years.  I'm just looking for some aged stock now.  I got lucky and got a cab of aged parti shorts and they are awesome, so I want more aged, well worth the extra pennies.

How are RGPC fresh? How long do you like letting them sit for?

There's script on the box, written by an importer in the 1870s (I'm at work so this is all off the top of my head) stating they they should be left for a year. This was deemed such good advice it's still on there, so one year it is! I left mine alone until a year after the box code and they're very good - Montecristo with added bite.

Had my first party short the other day, loved it, so those are on the list. I pick up whatever PC come up at a good price because they're my favorite size. I've been on the hunt for a box of Diplomatico #4, so I'm always on the lookout for these.  Missed out on the one in the locker sale haha.

Cohiba Robusto.  I see the powers at be continuing to raise the price of these.  I don't think I'll regret having more.

On the cheap and cheerful side:  Por Larranaga thins.  Panetelas and Montecarlos.

I rarely plan. Usually what I buy is a result of what pops up for sale and a combination of the following : How good is the pricing, available funds, and quantity of alcoholic beverages consumed. The more alcohol that is consumed it seems the pricing and available funds get less important. LOL

I've smoked a few boxes of Monte 2's (some better than others, all bought blind).  Hoping for a PSP box so that I can laugh at how poor the previous boxes actually were.

Hmmmm - everyone seems to be buying different than me. Either I should have an easy time scoring, or I'm WAY in the dark 

Been laying up boxes of

PLMC (had a couple in the last six months that almost hit like the Asia Robustos RE)

HUPC (still hoping this is a "Fonseca no 1" type of discontinuation)

Fonseca no 1 (while the gettin's hot!)

And a box or 2 of the usual layabouts: RASCC, Partagas Shorts, RGPC and skinny Le Hoyos.

Over time, I've invariably found that the EL isn't typically blended to my taste and the RE are often priced higher than I think they're worth. Regular production (especially, seemingly, a lot of pre-revolución vitolas) are what I get excited about.

I only think week to week, month to month about cigars.

Might invest in another bottle of expensive bourbon or two soon. This collection is growing bigger than the single malt scotch shelves.
