Probably 90%. Other 10% in small local shops. I can't imagine going back to how it used to be fighting the mall crowds or similar.

50/50, and only one 'run-in' at a shopping centre car park so far, where my spot was stolen, leading to some harsh un-Christmas like sentiments being shouted.

Hate car parks at this time of year. More reason to go 100% on line.

    * Hey, I hear ya, jat...the closest (and I mean seriously closest) I've come in my adult middle age to getting into a fist fight was over a stolen parking space outside of Sears in a mall.  It was an older guy with his teenaged nephew, and I knew it wouldn't have happened if I was a car full of grown, male bruisers instead of one lone woman all by myself. But I stayed out there for about 4 minutes nearly getting into a physical confrontation because they used some crap-ball excuse to get a space I was headed for. And - y-y-y-e-a-a-h, I let sensibility and reason step in rather than give in to my once upon a time, "Yeah, let's go, bitch!!!" actions I would have some years earlier.  It seems it takes things longer to heal when you're older.  While in the store, me and the guy made eye contact again, and something told me his nephew (if justice prevails) might have occasion to question his uncle if a similar circumstance occurs - but this time with a car full of grown bruisers instead of one little ole' me. "Hey, why ain't we takin' these guys on about their parkin' space?? Why are you bein' a coward?"  * OH! - the subject is did we shop online much! That's right  ahem, ahem! I did 50% of my Xmas shopping online.  The rest will be Christmas cards with cash in them. Always a fave with the folks.

I only ordered a couple of presents online - the majority of them were purchased in a store as I think it makes things easier for any warranty issues or returns.  That being said, everything was researched online and I knew exactly what I was buying before I left home.  Once I got to the store, it was a 15 minute exercise to collect everything and leave.
