Preacher man Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 Anyone have any experience with MC #4 from 2010? Have a chance to get a box but haven't heard much about the MC #4 from 2010.
Smallclub Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 The Monte 4 being the most rolled, best selling of all habanos, I guess 2010 was just other years: there are great boxes, decent boxes, and less desirable boxes… 2
JZBdano Posted October 7, 2016 Posted October 7, 2016 I have an average looking good smoking box of 2010 Monte 4s. Its not my favorite petit corona but it is very well received by many.
PigFish Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 It is a value judgment amigo. Are they more than what is currently being asked for Monte 4s? So what value do you put on 6 years of age for a cigar? Me, I would pass and buy a box of Rafeal Gonzalez PCs (current vintage) and save about 30 to 40%... There you have it! Best of luck on your purchase! -Piggy 2
dangolf18 Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 I've gone through almost a whole box from 2010. They are very very good cigars. Then again, it's one of the most produced cigars in Cuba so it could be hit or miss. If you can inspect the box before, I'd say go for it. If there's not much premium over regular production and you're buying blind, go for it. 1
Preacher man Posted October 12, 2016 Author Posted October 12, 2016 thanks guys.....we got hit pretty bad by "Matthew" and haven't had power or water for the last several days. Things are coming around now. Lots of cleanup.
