El Presidente Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 A week to go before the NFL gets uderway. Let us know how you see your team performing Also: Your tip for this years NFL Champions Your tip for the biggest improvers. My Buccaneers will be shooting for an 8-8 split before challenging for the post season next year. Winston will need to stay healthy, martin will need to chew out the metres on the ground and Evans will need a 14 touchdown season. The Bucs will need to score 30 points a game to be competitive as we will give up 25 most weeks NFL Champions: Carolina Panthers Most Improved: Buccaneers 2
QuaiDorkay Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 NFL Champions: Patriots Most Improved: My Redskins w/ Captain Kirk The 100yr old carriage house out back is being renovated into the perfect venue as we speak. Very excited. 1
skalls Posted September 1, 2016 Posted September 1, 2016 I had super bowl hopes on the Vikings. then a dislocated knee happened. Still think they win a playoff game. Champs: Arizona 1
tomj Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Buffalo will go 10-6 and get a wild card playoff.......I hope.... we Bills fans always hope. 3
Lant63 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 The local team: Lions 4-12 The team I root for Patriots: 10-6
Danimalia Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 My Raiders are looking to have their best year since 2002. A lot of people saying they may win the AFC West. I'm not there yet. 9-7. They have some rough luck with the schedule, and I expect them to lose a few games they should win. Not entirely sold on the coaching staff as the long-term answer. Might be a Mark Jackson/Steve Kerr situation like their neighbors across the parking lot. We'll see. Super Bowl: Arizona if Carson Palmer can stay healthy. Otherwise, I still like Carolina an awful lot too. Biggest Improvers: Indianapolis,

Champs: Arizona Oh no, that was awful. I liked Bridgewater a lot. I thought the Raiders should have drafted him, but the Khalil Mack pick with Carr in the 2nd round looks just fine. Hope Bridgewater makes a full and speedy recovery.
Ken Gargett Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 surely just a matter of how much the skins win the big one by. then we can all go and celebrate in the best bar ever. can't see the panthers winning it. lost norman. and that same sense of fun and support won't be there this year. think cam turned a lot of people off with his performance and his response last year.
anacostiakat Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Redskins schedule is much tougher this year and they are going to have to stay healthy and play well to match last year. Their lines are going to determine that. Along with the running game. Here is to hoping for the best! Champ? Tough call!

Philc2001 Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 My Dolphins are doomed, probably in a 4-way race to the bottom with the Cleveland Browns, Ten. Titans, and Detroit Lions. Most likely Super Bowl champ: If Brady wasn't suspended (again) for 4 games, I'd pick the Patriots (as much as I hate them). But with Brady out I'll say Packers. Most improved: I don't like them, but, I have to pick the NY Giants (yuk!). 1

Most improved: I don't like them, but, I have to pick the NY Giants (yuk!). i saw some critics pointing out, quite rightfully, that if synder and the skins had done what the giants did in the off-season, it would be all the same old jokes. we'd be the usual laughing stocks and deservedly so. the giants have spent massively to try and give eli one last crack but i'm not sure their purchasing has been all that brilliant, especially for mortgaging their future to that extent. i think that barring that very odd first round pick, their draft looks very solid. but for me, neither good rookies nor a bunch of high priced free agents are the way to success. too many teams (sadly, the skins right up there) have proved it both ways. also, eli is getting on. he has never really had any sort of injury. what are the odds of that being maintained throughout his career. he goes down and the giants melt. bizarrely, the skins seem to have the QB position best sorted for depth in the division. cowgirls have lost romo for who knows how long and dak P might look good now but the blowtorch of the real thing might find out how good he is. the eagles seem to be tossing back and forth. if capt kirk does not live up to the, albeit fleeting, promise of last year then we have mccoy. sure, a back up but i'd suggest that not many teams have a back up of his quality and experience. 3rd, sudfeld - a rookie who one hopes gets nothing more than a few plays for experience but i think he has shown more than plenty of higher picks so far. our tougher schedule is noted but we are still in the NFC Least so that can balance things a bit. and if you are serious, then you expect to beat the best. you don't steve bradbury your way to a superbowl win. but we do have some concerns. D line, running backs (good move, letting alfred go to the cowgirls, spare me). in all seriousness, assuming we are not slaughtered by injuries, i'm hoping for us to win the division with a good record and not the (well, to be honest, we steve bradbury'd our way that far last year) dodgy one of last; go further in the playoffs; and be very serious contenders for next season. but if the undoubted deserved success comes early to the white hats, i would not complain.
brschoppe Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 Chicago Bears 5-11...and that is probably being optimistic at this point. 1
CigarmanTim Posted September 2, 2016 Posted September 2, 2016 I'm going out on a limb here...My Browns will win 2 games. I still like the Pats to win it despite Brady being out. Most improved. 'Skins 2

JohnnyO Posted September 6, 2016 Posted September 6, 2016 Dolphins are looking at 6 wins probably this year. If they won 8 it would be the equivalent of winning the SB. Pats 24 Packers 27
