i see the the ATP finally suspended krygios. about time but seriously, till mid-jan unless he talks to someone or some other waste of time. then it is early nov. they didn't have the balls to do it for any period that might be relevant - think mid-jan is a coincidence, then not that will allow him to be available for the australian open and there is nothing but exhibition crap until then. talk about being belted with a feather. he must be giggling. a nice little holiday before his next main event. the ATP are as bad as this idiot.

personally, i will not be watching nd will be hoping that the news is he got done in round 1.

I am with you on that note @Ken Gargett can not stand that guy.

It S%$ts me that he gets off so easy, people might say he has a combined fine to pay of around $50K now, but that's nothing really I guess until the sponsors start dropping him then he might wake up.

As far as sports guys are concerned I like kyrgios.. Dunno why people get so caught up in a sports person or singer actor anyway.. he amuses me so that's ok .. plus he's far and away the best tennis player this country has had in a decade..

beyond me why anyone would like him or be amused but each to their own. i'm sure plenty of people can't always understand my views (and certainly not always agree with them).

my problem with him is that he disgraces australia and that is why i am so deeply offended by him. i would feel the same no matter what sport, or what level he was at, or whether he was a singer or politician or actor or bricklayer or whatever.

i think he is a truly despicable grub and i cannot really think of any fate that could befall him which was so bad that it would bother me.

Because he's a fantastic player when he's on

I like tennis shot making.. That's all

I don't want to watch a boring player when I can watch an exciting player

I don't think he represents me or my country.

He represents himself

I don't look at him as a role model.. Anybody who does look at athletes as role models is a bit cookoo in my opinion

He is what he is.

And you get, what you get!

It's not like you have to watch him.

It's not like you have to pay your money to see him.

It's just sport and everything else that comes along with it.

Can't take it too seriously in my opinion

The world is way too big.

It's just a money making enterprise built up into something more important than it should be.

Vile Australians ? They're everywhere, everyday! They're in your street, suburb town

They share your roads unfortunately

They're on holidays staryng in the same hotel as you.

Kyrgios is shown a clean pair of heels by Australians I've encountered in Australia and overseas in my lifetime

At least he can entertain on the court and he's not going to kill me on the road or glass me in a pub.

mcenroe was, and connors before him. but nothing like these idiots. mcenroe happily later admitted, his was mostly aimed at himself. which it was. and occasionally (and far less forgiveably) at umpires. the banning in the aussie open was, he has admitted, a miscalculation. he was firing himself up (which was largely the aim) but miscounted the warnings. thought he had one more. whoops.

but please, as much as those guys were seen as bad boys of their time (pat cash another), they were saints compared to this mob. telling your opponent, for all the word to hear, that your mate banged his girlfriend, telling the crowd to suck my balls, deliberately tranking in matches, giving up if your hair is out of place. and on and on and on. different league. let it continue and they only get worse.

Despite the temper tantrums at least John and Jimmy were both at one time Ranked #1 .

Wrong.

When you buy in advance a pricey ticket for a high rank tennis tournament, you have no idea who you will watch playing. You just wish you'll have the chance to see your favorite if you have one, or simply good players giving their best. The last thing you deserve and want is a spoiled prat who behaves like a prima donna with a hangover. Considering the price of the seats, it is theft besides being insulting.

first, completely agree with smallclub on this. if i paid significant hooter to take the family to a tennis match and had this imbecile yelling at the crowd to "suck my balls" and all the rest of his crap, including tanking (and he obviously does it as he is an insecure gibberer desperate for attention), i'd be livid.

i can understand people wanting the entertainment but i'm way past that. for me, if that is the entertainment you want, shouldn't you be watching cage fighting, though i suspect that even cage fighters are umpteen classes above krygios (at least those i've met certainly are). i agree that there are plenty of grubs everywhere, but that is a totally different thing. sadly, most people see him as an australian tennis player. it reflects on us. extremely poorly. the jellyfish at tennis australia should have done something but instead they effectively encouraged it. did they think he would suddenly grow up? morons.

two days ago, we have the idiot agreeing to go to counselling and giving what commentators (more fool, them) described as a sincere apology (did anyone really swallow that?). today, nah, not going to counselling, endless comments that show the apology meant absolutely nothing and then made comments about spending his time getting high.

if people really want to waste their time watching this pondscum, good luck to them. i'd rather learn to knit.
