What Rob sais ! What Jer(occo) sais...! Oh I know, but we all have our suspensions on this anjedo program. I'm left thinking that they were cigars made at the same time as the LE's and then shelved for just this reason. Especially since a Robusto isn't part of the normal H.Upmann lineup. Either way I'll probably end up with a box or 3.
IcedCanuck Posted August 18, 2016 Posted August 18, 2016 The ring gauge size has gotten way out of control. They must be making huge profits from these donkey penis size cigars or they wouldn't keep putting them out. The thing is I know very few people who smoke them. It would be nice to see some stats on their sales figures in comparison to smaller gauge cigars.

Corona Gorda "ish" / Dalia/Lonsdale 4. Half Corona or thereabouts. 5. Mega Mosters 5. Churchill/Double Corona 6. Daylight However by $ Value/revenue, mega monsters would come in at number 3. 1

Interesting stats. Something that may be worth noting is that by my count there are only about 7 "mega monsters" currently in production including the LCDH and Specialist releases but excluding the Behikes. Obviously, the LEs are going to sell no matter the RG and you're also only selling Asia Pacific REs. Sticking with your figures, the monsters represent a much smaller portion of your overall stock yet they still rank above the Chill/DC and come in 3rd in revenue, so they are evidently selling very well in reality. The only caveat is, again, counting the REs which have been larger RG in general, but also have inherently higher demand. 1

Upmann Robusto Anjedo is whatever was left over from the 2012 or 2009 EL's of that year? Or at the very least produced alongside them at the same time... I just ordered a box of 2012 H. Upmann Robusto EL's. When the new ones come out, I will let you know. 1
Nrengle Posted August 24, 2016 Posted August 24, 2016 I'd be willing to trade one for one see how they look compared to the LE and taste.
Bohn007 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 I just received word the the Cohiba Medio Siglo has been released in Germany. Can't wait to try it!
TomF Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 But what about Sir Winnie's? MdO2's? 8-9-8 Varnished? 1
NSXCIGAR Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Indeed, we are still very much behind on virtually everything on Rob's list. Amazing how many cigars I'm looking forward to that are imminent: the new LCDH releases and all the ELs (particularly the Monte Dantes and Trini Topes). Is this the first time the LEs weren't released in their years? At this rate the 2017 LEs won't be seen until 2019. Super high hopes for the Hoyo Elegantes and Punch 48 LCDHs. Hoyo and Punch have both had a tremendous 2015/2016. There's a good chance these two could be outstanding cigars. Anyway, looks like Q4 2016 is a bust. HSA's incompetence knows no bounds. 1
Habana Mike Posted December 17, 2016 Posted December 17, 2016 Topes were out last month in Havana. Picked up a box, lovely smoke....

Agree with this word for word.... The EL "fad" is just frustrating... I would love to get my hands on a box to smoke. But im not going to go chase them down. The Punch LCDH had me licking my lips, had nearly forgotten about it until now.... maybe thats half the plan?
