That Croatia match was horrible, how can they get 10-12 flares and fireworks snuck past security? Obviously the security isn't up to the job, if you can sneak those in you can sneak anything in.

Then when the crowd threw a firework at the fireman and it blew up in his face..

The Turkish match had the same issue too, I've no idea what's causing the problems this year, it's not been like this for going on 20 years. Is it heavy handed police who are tear gassing anyone singing too loud or have hooligan elements resurfaced?

I have no idea, as neither seem to have the French authorities. Let's hope they'll get that under control.

My Polski brethren are doing well. I don't think they will get through the gauntlet though. I think Germany has a good squad and a good chance to go all the way. I can't say I would mind seeing Italy in the final either. At least I would get a good meal at the in laws if they managed to get there!

Yes, and on Wednesday we'll see if 26th-ranked Wales can continue to the final against 8th-ranked Portugal.

I am just so glad they haven't taken up Rugby yet...

Yup - will be fun to watch. I wouldn't set a safe bet on any....

Absolutely great. The fans were still singing when everybody else long left the arena.
