How good do you feel when you find a box your "Hit List"?

We all have "our list" of boxes we are always on the hunt for. Sometimes we never find them, something we find them was we least expect them. This is the case with me while searching for a particular box of Diplo #2's. Recently I've ran into some ultra good #2's and have been on the hunt for a few identical boxes. Each source that I use on a regular basis has been out or not the particular year I wanted. So the search continues...I reached out to a particular friend that I only typically purchased aged material from and ran into a box of Diplo 4's from 2007. Yeaaaa buddy!!! I feel like I hit the cigar lottery. If and when I ever see these I buy them no question. To think he was sitting on them for this long and I didn't know it. One of my favorite cigars of all time and I thought he sold them all a long time ago. Pleasant surprise!

I'm sure this happens to people all the time, but I love the hunt and checking things off "the list". Feel free to share any recent finds that gave you that He'll Yeaaa feeling.

This is my " impossible to find but it never hurts to ask " list .

First score from this list was a '94 box of upmann super coronas ... List has additions and subtractions all the time .

Yes I get " giddy " when I score .

I try to get my paws on all the discountinued Dips I can. But it's also why I'm after certain #2's, I feel they will be better or could potentially be better than any Diplomatico cigar ever made with ample age.

Rome wasn't built in a day my friend and neither will your Cuban cigar collection. But that the fun of it right?!? Let me know what kind of stuff you like or want to try, if I have anything that could help ya out I'll work a trade or something with ya. I can't tell ya how many times in this cigar game that people/friends have helped me out finding stuff or trying stuff. That's what we do!!!

I have a love/hate relationship with hard to find/discontinued cigars. I'm happy to get them but then I'm hesitant to smoke them knowing I may never see them again.

I have a box of Dip 3's that I will smoke very sparingly.

After a lot of searching I ordered a box in the Netherlands. Guess what, they refunded me saying that they sold their last box today.

I remember when I finally snagged my MEL Cohiba's - and CCE's to boot.

I felt on top of the world. One of the only times when price didn't matter for a cigar - I had to have it and still giddy that I got it.
