Thanks for the awesome info/photos.

I'm a bit disappointed that there weren't any 60+ ringers released. They aren't gunna make us wait another ten years until the Cohiba 60th are they?

Thanks for trolling, seems nobody else on the internets was willing to do it ?

I'm also interested in the Cohiba.

I'll be in Cuba for my 50th birthday in September and would love to pick a box up if I can do it without part exchanging a kidney !

Haha, I just don't see how a 58 ring cigar is anything but marketing. As many of the members here would attest, you can get all the flavor depth and profile that you want in cigars dipping into the 30 rings. Some would even argue that the higher wrapper/binder to filler ratio in thinner cigars actually lends more defined flavors.

A cigar that big would be unpleasant for me to smoke, has anyone ventured into smoking one of these bad boys yet? They aren't short either, I would imagine a good 2 hours. Better pop a couple advil beforehand to get ahead of that aching jaw. While they look beautiful we seem to be getting into the realm of pure "collector pieces" Cigars that aren't meant to be smoked, like cars that are to expense to be driven. How exclusive!

Going on the times of previous releases, you would be lucky to see them on the shelves in September. They often take a year. Although, since this is the 50th anniversary, they will probably make more of an effort to get them out this year. The humidor of 20 doesn't look like it will be cheap though!

I was speaking in general. Have they in the past.

The RA EL 2015 came up earlier this week. Although it seems to be one of the more widely available EL I can remember. Although I have not been in this game nearly as long as many here. But to answer, yeah, I guess they do depending on availability. Would love to get my hands on a few of those Trini ELs
