zjory Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Just picked up a box of these, but can't find anything on them. Anyone smoked these yet? Thoughts?
TonyAccardo Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Never heard of them. Where did you get them from and what is the date on the box?
Bartolomeo Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Enjoyed the flavor but at $7-9 a smoke I prefer something bigger than a PR 1

Akela3rd Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Either of these? They're listed on Halfwheel as REs 2009 — El Rey del Mundo Choix de L’Epoque (4 3/10 x 52) — United Kingdom — Petit Robusto 2011 — El Rey del Mundo NL No.1 (4 1/2 x 52) — Netherlands — Petit Robusto
ChefBoyRG54 Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 At least they gave them a cool name.... 1

Akela3rd Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 Yeah, the Sept 15 and Barcelona clues were there. Please take away my Observation Badge, I'm a bad scout 2
losttrailer Posted February 3, 2016 Posted February 3, 2016 will have a mule down to Mallorca in March so will receive mine in 6 weeks or so, first impressions on the german board say worth buying. 1
JohnS Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 It's an interesting size for a petit robusto. The Montecristo Petit Edmundo, for example, is 52 ring gauge by 110mm. The only regular production cigars with this specification (50 ring gauge x 102mm) are the Hoyo de Monterrey Petit Robusto and the Romeo y Julieta Petit Churchill. All other releases have been Selection releases and Regional Editions. http://www.cubancigarwebsite.com/list.aspx?&ringlow=50&ringhigh=50&lengthmmlow=102&lengthmmhigh=102&includeimages=True&sortorder=noorder 1

I really like the size. Monte PEs are favorites of mine. 1

CdnLimitada Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I just smoked my one UK Petite Edmundo which was very good flavor wise and amazing construction. Need to try the Spanish one!
