We wish you the best of 2016 for yourself and your families. let is be a safe, healthy, happy and prosperous one We caught up with Adam and his family yesterday who own a beach house 20 minutes North of Patong beach. Where Patong is Sodom and Gomorra, Adams spot is peace on earth. Isolated from the hustle and bustle, he has a beach on his doorstep complete with a a beach/shack bar serving great drinks and food as you sit on the sand. He also has one of the best sunsets in the world. We drank cold beers, smoked great cigars, went for a swim in the 30 degree celsius water, drank more beers and watched the sun go down. Heading back there late this afternoon for a New years Eve party...it couldn't be more perfect. A huge thank you for Adam and his lovely family + friends for inviting us into their special part of the world We headed back into Patong around 11pm last night and hit Bangla road. It is a zoo out there people and not for the faint hearted I will post more photos of Bangla road when I get back....i will need to edit heavily. That is the best part of Phuket. The extremes ranging from the idyllic post card beaches and beach shacks complete with beautiful smiling locals ......to the bizarre hedonistic heart that is the beach town of Patong. Whatever you are up to....HAPPY NEW YEAR! 10
