Beautiful sunny afternoon here in Central Europe so grabbed a beer and lit up (I wish) a siglo 6 (my first ever) given to me as a recent birthday gift. Well what a disappointment.! The wrapper was like a brown flame resistant blanket, thicker than the sole on a Goodyear welted pair of Crockett and Jones boots. It almost literally would not bloody well burn, unbelievable. Now I can accept that one may not like the particular flavour of a cigar or that variances might occur in the blend that throw things out of line a little but come on, not burning, that's a bit much to say the least. How is it possible that the QC can be so bad on what is effectively a luxury item?? This Cohiba was bought from a reputable LCDH and is I believe not a fake. I do t think it's asking too much for a cigar to actually burn, perhaps I'm getting too fussy and should just put it in a pile along with water that does not get you wet or a stink bomb that doesn't stink. Poor work Habanos, poor work.

From the title, I assumed this would be a Clinton-Lewinsky compilation.

Gutted for you. How long was the cigar stored after purchase & how was it stored? Also what was the weather like?

I've smoked a few Siglo VI & they've not been consistent but the good one was sublime.

Very sorry to hear this... I have smoked a lot of Sig VI's, and can't remember ever having a really bad one (some much better than others) There had to be some extenuating circumstances involving a wet wrapper, improper storage at one point in its life, or possibly an inferior rolling job... I would not let this experience deter you from trying another one...

PM me your address, and I will send you one to help give you another perspective on how good these can be...

Your a very generous man

Well, fat Cohiba generally means that it is not going to be a great cigar in my book.

With that said, "classy move, Sid!!!"

Sid thank you very much for your kind offer, you are a gentleman. Sadly as there are often great difficulties in getting anything from US delivered to Slovakia It is probably better not to try but thanks again. Inspired by your post and offer I'm going to find another Siglo VI and give them a further go, I will keep you posted of the outcome. This weekend my family made a surprise visit flying in from the UK to see me for my birthday (I turned a corner in a restaurant and they where all sitting at the table waiting for me, unbelievable !!) and I received this generous and unexpected offer from Sid. Sometimes amid all the crap and drudgery that life can throw at you it can also sometimes remind you in a glorious fashion that people can be truly wonderfully kind and thoughtful.
