Mmmmmmmmmmmmm........... meat!

Posted

IMO we have by far the best quality meat in the world (especially lamb and beef) so it's not surprising. Beef prices have skyrocketed recently so that may lower the consumption.

Now I feel like a steak...

As if I needed another reason to like Australia!

Off the top of my head:

FOH, former prison colony (Because the weather in London is sooo much nicer?), wombats and wallabies (Kangaroos scare the **** out of me), opals, ACDC, awesome accent, men at work, and boomerangs. ( I won't hold Iggy Azalea against you) And to top it off a world class respect for meat! I do wish it was easier to get to though (within my budget that is). And yes in that order lol!

When I think of meat-eating countries, I immediately go to Uruguay and Argentina. But then again, it's probably only the well off that eat meat on a regular basis (total opposite where I live).

They obviously didn't include organic road kill burgers. There is that much squashed snake, turtle, roo, pig, and I recently witnessed two calves hit at the same time either end of the bullbar. Just gotta wait at dusk with a knife and folk, fend off the wedged tail eagles, and it comes pretenderised(note the lack of hyphen).

On average, vegetarians live years longer than meat eaters. Long, joyless, bacon free years.
