sastrooper Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I've seen this being posted around the forum and from what i can gather it's somewhere you can store your cigars once purchased from FOH? Just wander if the more learned here could enlighten me abit on this.
TypicalSituation Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Online humidor (at least that's what I think it means!) you can store boxes from the host there and ship when needed... Aka a tool to hide Cigars from the wife You can set it up from the home page, then start squirreling away boxes there!
JohnS Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It is, as you say, a benefit available to members here at Friends of Habanos. The thing I like about it is the fact that the cigars are stored optimally for aging. http://www.friendsofhabanos.com/humidor/faq
TypicalSituation Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Correct - click on "locker" OLH.png Unfair. I can't post that from Tapatalk! Haha

santela Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It is the best way to hide your expensive little hoarding hobby from the wife. I have about 20 boxes in there and counting... 2
Colt45 Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Unfair. I can't post that from Tapatalk! Haha Not to worry. As "smart" phones continue to get bigger, they'll eventually incorporate a keyboard and full computer capabilities. They'll probably call them laptops or notebooks, or something like that..... 2

LordAnubis Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Hahah... the cigars would probably give higher returns than anything else would!! 1

Same - my cooler at home is full and I my willpower is not great when the 24:24 comes up. Also aids me not dipping into boxes and a chance to age. Acronym - Online Hidden Humidor
HarveyBoulevard Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I have zero boxes in there You mean you have a number 'ending' in zero. What it starts with is another question.
luv2fly Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 Damn I wish I could put boxes in the OLH. The wife keeps too close a tab on the CC bill. Don't want to wake up one morning with my Ba$$ in a vice!

Habana Mike Posted August 7, 2015 Posted August 7, 2015 tongue in cheek (mostly), would this pass muster as an investment for my smsf? they allow gold bullion, me thinks they should allow cigars They do allow wine so why not cigars! Collectibles Many SMSFs hold collectibles such as artwork, jewellery, antiques, coins, stamps, vintage cars and wine. There are very strict rules on holding these assets in your SMSF. These assets, when held within an SMSF, must be insured and they cannot provide a present day benefit. This means that artwork cannot be displayed in your home or business, you cannot drive a vintage car, you cannot wear jewellery or drink the wine. https://www.moneysmart.gov.au/superannuation-and-retirement/self-managed-super-fund-smsf
