When I was in Zurich back in 2010, I smoked the OR BHK52, BHK54, BHK56, a Monte PE, Trinidad Reyes, and 3 Siglo I in one day. So that makes it 8 I guess (well Siglo I are not PC but BHK are damn huge).

You just chain smoked for 12 hours? Did you taste anything after the second cigar? Lol

Not really. I was counting within a 24 hour period.

12am BHK54 followed by 1 Siglo I

9am Trinidad Reyes and then Monte PE

12:30pm BHK 52 for lunch

4pm Cohiba Siglo I

8pm BHK56

And then rest of the night 2 more Siglo I.

I don't think I was tasting much after that BHK56. I have to say though, that BHK54 was probably the best cigar I've ever had.

For me the most in a day is always when I am in Havana.

I'm clearly a rookie, only come in at four in a day - usually three is my cap before my palate is just shot. Impressive. Maybe one day.

I think I did 5 the other night as I am on recreational leave from work at the moment. I think that was enough for me! (Por Larranaga Panatelas, San Cristobal de La Habana El Principe, H.Upmann Half Corona, Bolivar Belicosos Finos, Montecristo No.4) pooped.gif

Normally, I would have just a few (2-3) in a week! lol3.gif

Go. Do it. I'd recommend it to anyone, especially a cigar smoker.

Cigars take on a different currency there.

I was just thinking of a night last February, we were in a nightclub and one of the locals, who usually hits us up for a few drinks (no problem) asked us for a cigar. She doesn't smoke cigars, it was just for the look, so we worked out what was the 'least special' cigar we had amongst us. All I had on me was a Montecristo 80th anniversary, a H Upmann Magnum 56, a Ramon Allones 225th and a Behike 56. She got the Behike but would have been happier with $5.

I think 6. Had a customer hanging out at the mexico shop all week and a bit more and each day he smoked minimum of 4-5 with me. First day he had at least 7 and I tried to keep up at 6.

Love this thread, tough it makes me feel like a *****. I can't have more than 2 in a day without feeling queasy.

Like Andy, minimum of 7 a day in Cuba....everywhere there lends itself to smoking be it the hotels, the bars, nightclubs and especially the weather.

Also you're hanging out with fellow cigar smokers and there's usually some swapping and sharing of smokes going on.

Once I managed 11 but that was over the course of a 18 hour day staying up for the sunrise and the last few tasted very distinctly of rum and sea air :P

With good company I can continually smoke and a good mix of various foods & drink act as great palate refreshers.

My best day so far is nine cigars

I think I hit my max yesterday, actually. Two SCDLH La Punta, a Padron 1964, a Punch PC, a VR Famosos, and finished the two Monte Open Juniors that my wife started.
