normally i take no interest in what idiot so-called desperate celebrities do but i saw a reference to "rocket zot" on a news site (shame, fairfax, shame) and i wondered what the hell was that.

australians will be familiar with lara bingle - for others, an attractive (but tiny - stood next to her once in a room full of the cricketers - she was the life partner for our esteemed australian cricket captain, a position long considered far more important to aussies than the prime ministership and while he is an exceptional captain, his judgement was always in question while he was with her - in the end, she threw a whopping diamond down the toilet in a fit of temper and he was forced to leave a cricket tour to return to australia and sort it and finally, to the relief of all aussies, dumped her and traded up) but utterly moronic model or reality person or whatever. imagine an F grade wannabee kardashian.

she traded down and ended up with sam worthington, the bloke from avatar. don't know much about him but from people who have more knowledge than i do, it would seem from what they say that they deserve each other.

anyway, she has popped out the first sprog and - i have no idea, and less interest, if it is a girl or boy - they called it, yes, you guessed it.

anyway, it seems that the happy couple has been attacking the aussie media for questioning the wisdom of sending a person through life with that tag.

personally, i would have thought, given the parents, child services would have been waiting at the bottom of the bed with a net when the thing popped out.

I think Michael Clarke is and has done very well since that return from New Zealand in March 2010 (when he left a cricket tour and had to sort out personal issues with his then fiance, Lara Bingle). As I recall, he has scored some fine double hundreds against South Africa and a memorable 329 against India since then. It's the best thing he ever did!

As for Rocket Zot...it's the kid that has to live with this wonderful moniker from now on. Did Sam and Lara think of this? Obviously not.
