alephilmac Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Hello All, Just wanted to do a brief introduction. I'm new to FOH, but not to CC's and have really enjoyed lurking here for a little while now. Looking forward to getting involved in the discussions and reviews! There are clearly some very active and educated members here that I hope I can learn from. I'm a wine and cocktail enthusiast, which has been part of why cigars have taken a back seat the last few years (not quite so easy to describe the nuances of a wine once you've had a cigar But it's something I've missed and now that I have left the wine industry (more or less), I'm back for good. Looking forward to it! -Clint

Garrettbuckeye Posted April 2, 2015 Posted April 2, 2015 Welcome from Ohio! Might I ask, what did you do in the wine industry?
GasGuy82 Posted April 5, 2015 Posted April 5, 2015 Looks like we have at least 2 now for a NorCal meet and greet.

alephilmac Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Howdy. There are several of us here - we just have been slacking in setting up a herf... Agreed. I will be in the UK and and France most of this month, but when I get back, I would love to get together for a cigar (or several)!

alephilmac Posted April 6, 2015 Author Posted April 6, 2015 Welcome from Ohio! Might I ask, what did you do in the wine industry? My family owns a vineyeard in Eastern Oregon, near the Columbia and I am an Advanced Sommelier, through CMS (though, to be honest, that's not all it may seem to be. What I love about wine and/or cigars, is that each person brings their own background to the experience and one person may taste the "same" things, but describe them very differenty from another person.).
