JoeyGunz Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 Free weekend for me as far as I'm aware, will get it booked in the diary
LordAnubis Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I don't like crowds. I can't do public transport I'm sure ChanceSchmer would be happy to hold your hand mate! You could probably even cry on his shoulder if the crowds get too much for you
JoeyGunz Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 More than welcome to jump in my motor if you bring something to light up too!
ChanceSchmerr Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 More than welcome to jump in my motor if you bring something to light up too! Driving in downtown London? Best to bring a Double Corona, and you'll probably still nub it before you get where you're going LOL

JoeyGunz Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 downtown lol depending on traffic it actually takes about the same amount of time on the train compared to if I drive into Mayfair don't miss the days when my other half lived in Islington though definitely a trip that called for a DC. rather the motor with nice seats, air con and my music to public transport even though it makes me sound like a snob lol
Ryan Posted March 5, 2015 Posted March 5, 2015 I have only one recommendation for accomodation. When I was going to London regularly, 2-3 times a month, for work about 4 years ago. I stayed here. The Park Grand London Paddington. It's mid-range, actually cheap for London, £90-£120 per night. Free wifi, good service, rooms can be on the smaller side but it's quite new and it is London. A big plus, no need to get on a train. It's a very pleasant 30 min stroll through Hyde Park, then Mayfair, past Berkeley Square, into the St. James Area. Nice neighbourhood, quiet and safe, with decent pubs and restaurants. Quite a few good Indians. From there to St. James in a 30 minute stroll you'll walk past Sautters, Dunhill, Turmeau's Mayfair (if you like), Davidoff, Fox and 1a St. James. I never had a problem with it. http://www.booking.com/hotel/gb/the-park-grand-london-paddington.en-gb.html?aid=318615;label=New_English_EN_GBIE_5226314545-RnYQj%2AqnIkYg15Re%2ASD5mgS46932887305%3Apl%3Ata%3Ap1%3Ap2%3Aac%3Aap1t1%3Aneg;sid=1fe4aa4031a0288f87b5afb7e881d9c5;dcid=1;ucfs=1;srfid=e2831b0ed822ce53b9e3be9caed33454d90c1284X1;highlight_room=
