Customs are where it's at if you're visiting the island! Most everything else can be had once you're back home. That's the only place to get good customs for a fair price!

If you're set on buying brand-name sticks, make sure you stick to the LCdH shops and check them before you buy them!

Wellllll, let's seeeee; thinking.gif Hmmm. Some Bolivars and some Ramon Allones. Maybe a smidgen of Por Larranagas. Whatever size 38 ring gauge or thicker I can get.

Trinidad Vigia & a box of Upmann RR.

Or a box of Connie As would work too.

So it looks like I'm going to have my friend pick me up some custom rolls but I'm not sure about those cuban $1 Cigars that the locals smoke now I guess I'll have to find out where he's staying and find out where he can get decent custom rolled cigars

Other than the cutom rolled or farm rolled, I would try to find the regional jar of Bolivar Distinguidos. And beyond that I would go for a box of Cohiba Robustos as that's the cheapest you're going to get them and even then, you're not getting much of a break.

I don't own a custom box or never smoked one. Time for me to come out under This rock

here's the plan one box of custom = $ 50-75 sounds right?

And maybe a major brand box around $150 -200

Or maybe just all 50 cigars custom roll since I can't get that here

the regional jar bolivar distinguidos sounds amazing but with only 400 jars made I pretty sure I would have to come up with more then $300 yea the Cohiba Robustos are in my price range

Reynaldo impressionantes $6 cuc a piece, things of beauty! Oh, and these things will put hair on your chest...as potent as a Cuban can be...

Really anything looking and smelling good, worth trying...

well that would be nice but he can only bring back 50 cigars I wish tho

Does he have family going there's another 50 minimum that's 100 stogies. Any more than that you might want to up the budget.

Never had costums, so id ask for reynaldos as it should be easy to locate - if buying reg stuff jl2 and mag 46, might have to add a coin or two

Distinguidos are/were only in China afaik, and the CoRo price is very often cheaper online.

No such thing as a box of customs. You pay per cigar a standard price. Buy as many or as little as you want. Often tied in bundles using strips of plastic shopping bags, or wrapped in plastic wrap. There is an official/unofficial price list per vitola, and the odd sizes are in a similar ratio.

why wouldn't you order standard production from here Czar, and just get exclusive customs direct from Cuba?
