i see that a bloke we could not even turn into a backup let alone a starter, in the worst secondary in the history of humanity, is now, just a few months later, not only starting for the bills, but gets two interceptions off rogers v the packers. we are a toilet.

and then we find a new way to lose yet again though that call against rg3’s touchdown on halftime was appalling (when you have an old cowboy saying it as a crap decision, it must have been really bad). instead of 17-7, we end up 10-10. total crap.

the only thing offensive about our line is the way they play. 22 sacks in three games? you could not keep a chunk of granite fit with that rubbish, let alone a QB. and now something like 286 sacks for the year.

at one stage, we have 360 yards offense, giants have 120 yards. yet we are still getting done. because 115 yards on penalties. 70 to one bloke. and minus a bucketload on sacks. gruden truly the worst coach ever. i reckon i have a fair idea for cricket, rugby and league decisions but when i can sit and point out stupid, stupid stuff by the coach, he has to be something rancid. yet another dumb attempt on 4th and yards. does he just think law of averages mean we’ll eventually get one?

and please explain to me, the decision with us attacking. rg3 runs to the 2 yard line but flag on the giants from line of scrimmage with penalty half the distance to the line. we were on the 10, i think. so that would take us to the 5. surely, no team in human history, from the under 4’s to the NFL would not decline the penalty and take the spot on the 2. we do. are we so stupid?

plus the coach doesn't even know one of his own players ejected till the press ask him about it. as for keeping control of your team... it does not get worse. this bloke is clueless.

at least, when the turnstile that alibis as an offensive line was not leaking like the titanic, rg3 looked a bit more like his old self.

please please sack gruden. synder copping the $16 mill payout to him would be money well spent. and what dimwit organisation guarantees an untried coach $20 million over five years? we make the wallabies look like a tight, well-oiled, competent machine. we are that bad.

it gets even more humiliating. espn give out game balls for the best player on each team.

the skins ball went to chris thompson - "for catching two passes for a total of 13 yards".

monty python could not make this up.

Sorry Ken.

BTW, we stink also.

if your blokes had come up against a football team, not gumbies-are-us, you might have been in trouble. but any team playing the skins, the game plan is simply to wait till we self-destruct. death, taxes and the skins imploding. all guaranteed.

I always enjoy reading Bill Simmons. He wrote this recently about the Washington football team.

http://grantland.com/the-triangle/daniel-snyder-washington-redskins/

nice stuff but way too kind.

actually, i am not as rabidly anti-synder as many. largely for a lot of the reasons he mentions. he is a fan and he does want to win and he does throw the cash (throw it at gruden to bugger off asap). but he needs to get some football brains around him - not bruce allen (that has gone well, hasn't it).

be interesting to see if they are thinking harbaugh.

but synder is not going anywhere. we just have to hope he puts people in place to turn this crap around.

Hey Ken, why don't you become a Packers fan? Only team in the NFL owned by the people (cooperative), we practically invented the Lombardi trophy and the fans are awesome!!!

always liked the packers. if i had a 2nd team, they'd be it. david chang??? tried to crowdfund a takeover but it got nowhere. sadly sydner going nowhere. very happy to see the packers win the bowl this year.

but you can't change teams. at least i can't. might go through periods of hating them, even occasionally being happy to see them lose. but in the end, i'm stuck with them for the rest of my life. how depressing.

I feel your pain Ken. It is truely torture to watch this team play.

Chris Thompson blew a number of blocks in aiding the miserable offensive line blocking. So I can not for the life of me figure that one out. There should be no game ball given.

As for Snyder; Ken, the man keeps making the same mistakes over and over again! He is like a Groundhog Day owner. :lol3: I truely do not care how big a fan he is. Really?

Their drafting is atrocious. Woe is us. :lol3: Next game is a Saturday. Sigh.....

On the bright side the skins should get some good draft picks for 2015 provided that they did not give them away for prior trades or trade them off for players on the down slide.

at least you don't have to get up at 3am to do it!

perhaps the game ball to way. he was okay. kerrigan fair. but bugger all else. perhaps the bus driver. at least this time he did not crash.

the drafting is terrifying.

understand re snyder. i guess what i really meant was he could be worse (not much). and being a fan is a redeeming quality.

i'm hoping that for once, the groundhog day works to our advantage. he keeps sacking coaches after 5 minutes. sack this one. normally i'd be in favour of giving the guy a decent crack at it but he really does seem truly clueless. the bloke was brought in because he was a QB coach to put rg3 on track. sure, rg3 has had some major problems but the kid has had major injuries. and gruden just tossed in the towel. the challenges he has made have looked desparate. the calls 4th and crap have been completely bewildering. he might be enthusiastic but you have to have some idea. doesn't look as though the bengals are missing him.

snyder sacked marty schottenheimer after a year, i think, and that bloke went 8-3 in the last 11 games. so groundhog day please. and then get out of the way.

mind you, there is probably some bloke calling bingo somewhere we can drag out. he has done that before.

actually, while in pissed off mode, worth a look at this from the wash post.

http://www.washingtonpost.com/blogs/dc-sports-bog/wp/2014/12/15/the-redskins-and-jay-gruden-gave-up-at-the-end-of-the-giants-game-and-it-was-weird-and-sad/?wpisrc=nl_sports&wpmm=1

shows just how clueless gruden is. 1.30 left and he really did just give up. long shot but a touchdown, 2 point conversion, onside kick. at least try it. not the utterly spineless way they just folded. if i was snyder/allen, i'd be asking some serious questions.

prediction for 2015 - gruden is still in charge of gumbies-are-us then 3-13 will look like the glory days.

at this stage, we are playing for draft picks, though you'd have to love dinting the playoff chances/positions for the eagles and cowgirls.
