cigarbreak Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I dont have a vast array of choices relative to some, but i like switching it up as much as the next person. I do go on binges though where i'll smoke the same morning/lunch and dinner smoke days in row then i'll get tired and rotate. Good example is the recent HdM Palmas Extras i picked up which i am burning all too fast and loving every bit. Honestly love how good these taste with coffee.
Phillys Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Monogamy... That would be nearly impossible with cigars, so many great cigars to choose from. 1
PapaDisco Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I think it would be fun to have 2 or 3 regulars, and then you could enjoy getting to really know that marca and vitola over the years and factories of production; but I'm not that disciplined. Maybe someday.
Lasabar Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Since I'm married, I'm monogamous in my relationship. But in terms of cigars, I am my teenage self, out looking for the finest and best and trying every one that I can. Too many cigars, not enough time. If I smoked like I was in my teenage years I would be remanded to looking at cigars on the internet and not smoking a damn thing. 4
santela Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 If I smoked like I was in my teenage years I would be remanded to looking at cigars on the internet and not smoking a damn thing. Lol, sounds like my teenage years. 1
Perla Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I am definitely monogamous. 8 of 10 Times i buy shoes. Oh shoot i am in the wrong Forum. 1
Lotusguy Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 To stay with the analogy, I am a total ***** - sometimes I have three different ones in one day 2
ramon_cojones Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I stick to some brands religiously ie ra, partagas and cohiba with a sprinkling of others. I won't buy monte, ryj, punch, etc, forget about fonsecas, quints and the like.
Moogypug Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I long for variety. I don't smoke the same cigar twice in a row. I always rotate. 1
Sophistic Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 after a journey through the habanos portfolio, i'm now smoking mostly montecristo, may be just 6/10 but that will increase most likely after my next bigger purchase.
cigcars Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Monogamy (concerning cigars) - Me? No, I'm a player
gtejada Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Heck I just got a sampler! No monogamy for me just yet. But if I were, I think I would be partial to BBFs. I think I love'em! 1
ErikB Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Not sure if I could (I'm so easily distracted) but the idea certainly appeals to me. I'm a bit tired of limited editions, regional and new releases and the whole collecting and ageing thing. Been smoking CC's since 1995 so I know what I like.
stonedpirate Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I started smoking with the hope of finding "the one". I figured I would try a wide variety, pick the best and then stockpile it. However, the reality is, cuba is so inconsistent so "the one" is hot one year then crap the next. If all cigars hit the profile and were manufactured in a consistent way I would be monogamous. But they start to show their flaws over the years so I have no choice but to sleep around. 1
Popular Post rsanz Posted October 7, 2014 Popular Post Posted October 7, 2014 I guess I am a 'monogamous smoker'. RASCC easily 8 out of 10 (probably closer to 9.5 out of 10). When asked what my favourite cigar is I say RASCC, when they hear the word 'small' they ask what my favourite bigger cigar is, I say... ... 2 RASCC. 5
Large215 Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 No way I'm all over the place But when it come to CC's it's all about partagas
CaptainQuintero Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I like Rob's idea of a golf bag; having a cigar for every occasion/situation 1
laficion Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 Hi everyone, As the most of you know,I'm a Corona Gorda guy ,(H.Upmann, Mag 46,SLR ,Series A and my beloved HdM,Epicure No.1 ) and I only smoke those everyday ,So you may call me a monogamous smoker but, I also like a little variety in my smokes too, once in a while. Guy 1

sengjc Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 I am well and truly a "polygamous" smoker. If smoking cigars is like a swinging then I would be running a swingers club.

Guy That is like having a wife and two mistresses, how French of you, I like it!
in0gravity Posted October 7, 2014 Posted October 7, 2014 My Grandfather was a monogamous smoker. He only smoked Sumatra Figurados back in the day. Me, I like the variety. regards Lars

Rushman Posted October 8, 2014 Posted October 8, 2014 I may get as much as 5 out of 10 but that 5 changes as my stock changes. I have my faves and regular smokes but I'm not monogamous. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk
