Gary, you know to always shoot me a line when you are in town and I will come out if possible!

Absolutely but I am only in one night and not sure of my work commitments yet.

An opposite but similar perspective can be adopted as well. Quick, without smoking any let's commit to two boxes because they are new so they must be good?? I don't understand how anyone could make

While comments like mine might appear discouraging to others, they are not intended this way. What they are intended to be, are intentionally negative to Tabacuba. My negativity is not aimed at any me

I may be going out on a limb here but I reckon they chose the name just to wind up Piggy. There's some guy in HSA HQ right now on his computer pissing himself.

Sure it would be a sad thing if they discontinue vitolas I like - but dont see there has to be a strict correlation between yearly discontinuation and a few el's released each year - but what do I know

i have a few boxes of allones mille fleurs ... they are remarkably similar in taste to the el's that came out in '00 '01 '02 .

allones mille fleurs ( at 40$ a box ) have been discontinued ... any idea what might have happened to that leaf ???

Retro cool is something like the RA Celestiales Finos. Not too expensive. Aged nicely. Not a vitola you see everyday.

Retro nonsense is this release. Are these cigars going to have those brutal NC chocodirt wrappers that plague most of the recent constituents of this ill-conceived line?

My bad. Let us admire the glass. Half-filled with Kool-aid.....

OH YEAH!!!!!

"Leaf"? The RA Mille Fleur was a machine made, short filler cigar.

btw I have smoked dozens of this cigar (one of best Q/P ratio in France with the Gispert Habanera) and haven't find the slightest similarity with ELs from '00, '01, '02.

I picked up two singles yesterday (along with the PL Picadores, HDM New Release and the Vegueros). I will give theme a fair shot.

After seeing this price, I am raising my guess for the expected price for the RA898 RE to 24 euros/stick :(

respectfully

other than taste ... i agree ... no similarity to the early el's .

havent quite smoked a dozen boxes (yet) ... they look like they were rolled by an 8 year old and burn at a 45 degree angle but i swear to god they taste just like the '01 ('02 actually) d3's ... a bit fainter in strength tho .
