Kruz Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I leave for a Europe trip next weekend and was hoping to get some suggestions on regional editions to pick up and some great places to smoke while visiting places. I will be in the following cities: Amsterdam, Berlin, Prague, Vienna and Rome. So far I know I want to go to: Amsterdam: Hajenius & LCDH Berlin: Herzog am Hafen Prague: Blue Skelp & Black Angel's Bar Vienna: Hazar The only regional I know I want is the Ideales in Vienna but need suggestions on what other RE's to pick up. I think these will make for the best kind of souvenirs . My tastes are Bolivar, PL, Upmann and R&J when they are decent. Would love to hear of more unique lounges to visit as well (esp. Rome). Especially with great whiskey selections. Thanks in advance!
Maplepie Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Amsterdam. Benelux REs are plenty despite being outside of Belgium/ Luxembourg. LCdH the Hague is somewhere to see if you can go. Berlin: LCdH Berlin and Herzog, see if Christian is there. If he is, tell him Jeremy from Canada sent you and to get on Jeremy's preorder list. They have boxes of RA Belvederes for ridiculously good price. Pick one up and mail it to yourself. Then go across the bridge to the BurgerMeister for the best burger you'll ever have. Prague has many small B&Ms with MANY hidden goodies. You need a good eye. Don't go just to the touristy ones Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.

CaptainQuintero Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 BeNeLux= Belgium Netherlands (That's why Amsterdam has Benelux RE) Luxembourg There are a lot of forgettable REs, if you can get some Italy small robustos they are really special, balanced to perfection. Sweet toasty tobacco and tea.
Maplepie Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 BeNeLux: Belgium Netherlands Luxembourg There are a lot of forgettable REs To say the least I did enjoy the ERdM Petit Robusto. Also, the Bolivar Poderoso will be worth the investment. But the Punch Royals. Probably the best Punch RE behind the Serie D'Oro No. 1. Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry.
Perla Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 If you are in Berlin (Herzog) try the RE RG Petit Piramides.

Have you used the place I am referring too, surely someone who knows so much about all these different places and retailers is not that naive? 1
CaptainQuintero Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Not regional but the HDM San Juan is in Germany now mostly, if not then the next few days or so. If you like the idea of those then you can most likely grab some
RijkdeGooier Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Amsterdam has the following regionals that are worth your while Punch Royal Selection cab 50 Bolivar Fabulosos RA Robusto Corto
Kruz Posted September 3, 2014 Author Posted September 3, 2014 Thank you everyone for the suggestions. This is great!
Maplepie Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 Bolivar Fabulosos MiMi. I've been looking for those for a bit. Mind a trade? Sent by the Enigma on BlackBerry. 1
Habana Mike Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 When in Prague check out Manesova Bar and Books in the Vinohrady neighborhood - great whisky/whiskey selection and cigar smoking is encouraged! You could also hit the Tynska Bar and Books just off the old town square.
Lotusguy Posted September 3, 2014 Posted September 3, 2014 I second the suggestion to get some RG Petit Piramides in Germany. If you like QdO, they also still have stock of the Panetelas.
