mikek Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Do you realise if you just bought A bottle of Thunderrbird how many box's of cigars you could buy!!!!!
dangolf18 Posted September 6, 2014 Posted September 6, 2014 Even if my net worth were $10 million and I was a scotch fanatic, I wouldn't shell out that much for 1 bottle. I'd stock up on a lot of 25 year old scotch though. Many say that after 20 year you're just pissing your money away.

Fosgate Posted September 7, 2014 Author Posted September 7, 2014 Even if I won $500 million I would not blow my coin on that. I just don't see the value in spending simply because I don't drink that much. I would however drop that amount on a precision rifle. With that said, if I wanted a divorce I would buy a bottle and once she leaves the next day I would sell it.
ZinZan Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Hmmm...Glenfiddich 12, Glenlivet 12 or Balvenie 40...what do I feel like getting... So when you getting it seng?
Jeremy Festa Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 Scotch newbie here. I understand that they just shouldn't do it, but does it affect anything? Besides the coloring? Supposedly, it doesn't affect taste and I don't claim to have a sophisticated enough palate to claim otherwise. However, it's really not necessary so why add chemicals? It's especially ironic when they then talk about the "rich" color on the box or bottle label... It's because we taste with our eyes first.
sengjc Posted September 8, 2014 Posted September 8, 2014 So when you getting it seng? Nah...not a big on Balvenie.

dangolf18 Posted September 13, 2014 Posted September 13, 2014 Actually if it were a 40 year old Lagavulin and I had a nice nest egg I'd get one or two bottles. Big fan of peaty Islay malts and they'd only go up in price. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
leftimatic Posted September 26, 2014 Posted September 26, 2014 Stopped by my local high end meat market for some quality cuts and incredients and low and behold saw this in the liquer section. Anyone try this before? Can it be than much better than say a $200 bottle to command $4000 U.S.? So do you think this may of come from Indiana?
Fosgate Posted September 28, 2014 Author Posted September 28, 2014 This just popped up on the Wall Street Journal. $650 a sip!!!
