I've been smoking around 2-3 a day sometimes more every now and then for the last year. I would love to get down to about 4 or 5 a week, I find I do enjoy them more when I don't smoke as many... plus I need money for other things! LOL

Out of respect for my wife I dont smoke at home.. And luckily I have a job that allows me to be outside with a decent amount of downtime. That said, for a long time I was getting in around 5 cigars in an 8 hour shift, mind you it wasnt every day of the work week.

Even so, after several months of this I became burned out.... Cigars tasted the same, if they tasted at all. I finally cut back to two a day with plenty of time in between. Ive found this works best for me.

Yes, sometimes if I smoke more then 3 in a day, they start to all blend together as far as taste. It does depend on the length of time in between them or what exactly I'm smoking. But I have found that the magic number for me is 3. I really only smoke 4 maybe once or tops twice a week. Usually on my 'long' days at work.

My palate gets fried if I smoke more than 5 in a day but only if I smoke big cigars like a Lusitania, or if I do not drink in between (usually ice water).

I gravitate more towards coronas, pc's, lonsdales, tpc's, panatelas, Hermosos, robustos, corona gordas.

A punch punch, monte 4, and JL 2 are on tap tonight.

Palate gets fried with 7 cigars if I am herfing, but that amount time usually leads to a dinner, so I get semi refreshed.

I'm down to about 3-4 per week down from a high of 2-3 per day when I was in mexico.
