Greetings fellow BOTL! I have an opportunity to get my hands on some MEL 08 and can't decide which to choose. I have a box of the CoRo's already which are outstanding however I haven't had an Espy's from this time period. I know 2008 was a good year for El Laquito but I would like your thoughts if I should spend the coin on Espy's or get another of the tried and true CoRo's. Thanks in advance for your input!

Is MEL El Laguito in 08? :/

Don't have my chart on me :(

Also, do specify the Esplendidos question. If you should get a box? 15 pack? What now??

I would choose CoRo's every time but I'm a big lover of robustos in general and as robustos go aged CoRo is way up there!

Esplendidos are by far the most faked cigars out there - unless I was 110% sure of the provenance, I would stay away.

Even if I was 110% sure, I'd pick the CoRo.

Gentlemen thanks for the replies however I found out the boxes were sold. The lesson I learned is one I already know.... Never count your chickens before they hatch.
