That is, hands-down, the scariest looking vegetable I've ever seen in my life.

So what's on the inside? Multiple spleens and livers? A half completed "Thing" replica of your dog?

Hmmmm....somehow I don't think you should chance eating that. If you want to go to the animal shelter and adopt a bunny - and see what happens to it! Who knows; instead of you guys thinking, "Why cigcars, how COULD you suggest such a thing - you animal hater, you!!" MAYBE the rabbit will become a new "Curse of the WereRabbit" courtesy of Nick Park and Steve Box surprised.gif

Those are some beautiful heirlooms. There's a farmer's market every Tuesday here and these are much sweeter than the commercialized strains of tomatoes.

Garbandz, do you grow other fruits/vegetables?

Super curious about seeing what kind of results you get with other stuff :)

Yeah seriously.. Time to move house. Interesting ripening.. Bet they're damn tasty. I was gifted a tomato plant from an italian recently.. I was assured the plant had been passed down through seedling since mama and papa came over from mother land.. or something like that.. any way, Damn tasty, damn ugly! :P

Tomatoes are actually a pretty ugly fruit. Only through all the modern hybrid development have we arrived a nice even globe shaped fruit. The modern hybrids unfortunately make less sugar, which is why the heirloom fad is getting hot.

Good looking fruit! Up here in New England, only the smalls and early varieties are ready. Lots of big green fruit though! smile.png

Enjoy that sucker. What a beast.
