Happy Independence Day Americans!

Started my day with a '98 Charlotte whilst packing the car for our trip to the beach, '09 PL Los Andes RE Peru band after road lunch. Classic American cheeseburger and fries....

'08 RA Espana RE Grandes on the final ride in, RG Perlas prepriandial and finishing the evening post-fireworks with an outstanding Monte #2

Looking forward to the rest of the week!

ah! the Partagas Charlotte.

sticks that i've passed up thrice on and are still ignorant about.

how are they, Mike?

Let me say, don't let them pass by again!

Classic old world Partagas flavors with all the nuances only 15+ years can bestow on them.

I prefer the 5x5 packaging over the 13/12....

huh. damn shame, innit? i'd still prefer the Connie 1s and 3s, of course. if anything, i'll pick em up for you, then ;)

also took me a while to guess what 13/12 meant. what was the 5x5 packaging? bundles in cello?

I had a 2003 Siglo VI. Honestly it was a disappointment. I think it has lost a lot of its strength. It was very smooth but too mild for my taste.

Charlottes originally came in a cab-like dress box and a typical dress box.....

I, too, enjoy the SdC line. Hard to say which way I'd go having to choose between Charlotte and SdC #1

Ah! so you just call cabs and dress boxes different things

I wouldn't say 5x5. i'd rather say: 5.12x4.88. it's barely a perfect 5x5 ;)

and huh. rivals the SdC 1, eh? you're making me remorseful :(

Had this gifted to me. No idea what it was but it was a dog rocket. Probably didn't help when I went to cut it I didn't grab the foot and wound up too high on the stick so as soon as I clipped it the cap cracked.

Oh wow. Cheers for the dedication, Mike :ok:

I'll admit defeat. I guess I'm just too used to modern 5x5 (cardboard singles).

Nice seeing where Trinidad got their packaging ideas from!r

And a swiss box, eh? ;)
