bolivr Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 First thought was Tiramisu but I've also found a cheese platter to go quite well with a RASS
Crayzital3 Posted February 20, 2015 Posted February 20, 2015 I've only done it a couple times but I enjoyed a nice bittersweet dark chocolate in the 70%-80% cocoa range. I've been wanting to try pairing a creamy CC with a bitter chocolate that has sea salt in it to see how well they would mix.
topdiesel Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Dessert during a cigar, not for me. Dessert after a cigar, well that is a different story. I would say a cheesecake is pretty awesome after a cigar.
Ginseng Posted February 21, 2015 Posted February 21, 2015 Brownies, tiramisu, chocolate chip cookies have all worked fine for me. I'm not usually a sweet tooth but occasionally a nibble with a smoke is a fine thing. Wilkey
LordAnubis Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 What's that thing called that is like has caramel taste normally and looks like custard solidified more in a bowl then bowl turned upside down and the custard type stuff falls out and they then burn the top of it or put some caramel sheet on top? I like that with cigars... I guess anything creamy and complementary flavours to a cigar works well.
CaptainQuintero Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 Creme brule I think you're on about. If you can try creme caramel you might like the pairing even more. Its cold and has no burnt top, sweeter too to my tastes. I can eat it by the bucket!
LordAnubis Posted February 25, 2015 Posted February 25, 2015 That's the one, crème brulee... I think I've had them both, it's all French to me 1
napbo00 Posted February 26, 2015 Posted February 26, 2015 Nothing better than a nice smoke with a slice of cheese cake.
purpleloki Posted March 21, 2015 Posted March 21, 2015 Never mix desert and cigars but a nice 30 year old tawny is just the ticket!
