Smallclub Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 It has to be one among: PSD4, El Principe, PL Montecarlo, Boli pc or RyJ Exhib4…
cigarbreak Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 HUHC and RAScc as their size is great when you have less than an hour and both deliver in flavour for me. When I have time I would say SLR Regios FTW right now. Its great after a meal and great with a morning coffee and croissant.
maduro Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Although I have enjoyed many different robustos, The empty boxes of PSD#4 and HDM#2 collecting in my basement paint a very clear picture of who the winners are.
TypicalSituation Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 PLPC for me. Followed closely by bolivar pc
ksblazer Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 For me its the Boli cj Because of the price and consistancy over the years Pp 1
JimC Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Party Shorts followed by HU Mag 46. Both very consistent and fit my palate well.
Nedule Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 lately, over the past 6 months its been the Upmann HC, over the long haul it would be Monte 4.
samuelsmithbeer Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Juan Lopez No. 2 for me. In the morning with coffee, a lazy summer afternoon with a beer or the evening after a good meal. They always seem right for me.
TheBaron Posted June 10, 2014 Posted June 10, 2014 Epi No.2 for sure. My absolute go-to safety. Have never (touch wood) had a bad one and they're great no matter when your light one up. SD4 would be second for mine. But man I love those Epi 2s.
ajgagnon Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Fascinating. I don't have a clear winner, as I rotate a lot and hate to run out of anything. When I get down to two, I tend to hold on until I can share the last experience with someone, and then sit on them (bring out something else next time and forget). Lately, it's the BRC, PLPC and PL Montecarlo. Lots of other convenient small ones too though (Shorts, Divinos, Reyes, and damn, you got me, Captain... Quintero Favoritos).
johnhenry Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 The Hemingway line by Fuente ,the Maduro signature for sure. Great fresh ,better with age! 1
NMJoe Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Mag 46, followed by CoRo. Why the CoRo, you ask? Because I'm a glutton for punishment.
Ginseng Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Many boxes of RyJ Cazadores. Followed by piles of Quintero Brevas. Third, H. Upmann Mag 46. Wilkey
DWC Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 SCdlh el Principe followed close by Partagas super. I like the size, flavor and price.
rsanz Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 RASCC by a long shot as these empty boxes from the last few years will confirm. Great flavour, if a little unpredictable at times (which I view as a plus) and the perfect size for the drive to (and from) work. 3
ErikB Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 I think probably the RyJ No 1 tubos, pretty much all I smoked between 1995 and 2004. Affordable and rewarding.
Lant63 Posted June 11, 2014 Posted June 11, 2014 Monsdale for me. I had 10 on my trip to Havana, and about 5 since then!
elam370 Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 Partagas Serie D 5. I've blown through 2 boxes of these things in the last couple of months. They're absolutely fantastic ROTT and they're not overly complex. Just absurdly flavor-filled. Not to mention since it's a short Robusto it tends to not overstay it's welcome. The blend is spot on 100% of the time, the draw is never too tight (unlike the D4s...cough) and my god, the flavors just smash you in the face! Cheery little stick that is admittedly a little overpriced. But a fantastic stick nonetheless.
santela Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 RASCC by a long shot as these empty boxes from the last few years will confirm. Great flavour, if a little unpredictable at times (which I view as a plus) and the perfect size for the drive to (and from) work. Wow...
DWilliams Posted June 12, 2014 Posted June 12, 2014 RASCC by a long shot as these empty boxes from the last few years will confirm. Great flavour, if a little unpredictable at times (which I view as a plus) and the perfect size for the drive to (and from) work. I tend to play a whole lot of low stake Tetris myself... that's on another level though....Jenga!
