El Presidente Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I don't normally watch a ton of TV but I enjoy an hour or so of entertainment before I head to bed. just get's rid of the mind clutter. Struggling on the "entertainment" currently. I can't do Reality TV, does my head in and that wipes out 60% of offerings. What are you enjoying right now? Give me a lead!
Maplepie Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 24 RE-RELEASE!!! But for normal people, my mates are enjoying: Archer Suits Bones Black Books Note: i hate the telly too... Just something about waiting weeks for the new shows is just a major turn off for me. That's why i like the Simpsons! You're never excited about new episodes so you just re-watch the old ones 100000 times.
pwhite Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 I am watching "Boardwalk Empire" on Netfilx. I'm in the middle of season four and it is an excellent show. After this I am going to watch "The Wire", which I have heard some say was the best cable show ever made.
investandprosper Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Game of Thrones, Halt and Catch Fire are my top two. 1
stogieluver Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 24. A great show that has, thankfully, made an encore performance. We breath our next breath of air because Jack Bauer lets us.

And what are these other businesses you mention from time to time that "fill your mind", if you don't mind sharing, maybe you already have and I missed it?!

NMJoe Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 My favorite show over the past two years has been The Americans. The show is about Russian spies in the US during the Cold War, and their FBI counterparts.
Dimmers Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Winter is coming Rob! Get on board for the crazy ride Also have hopped on the "House of Cards" express only recently ( but already my 2nd fav series behind GoT in recent memory). As to best of all time - The Wire and Sopranos are hard to beat

nikonNUT Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 "House of Cards" Just discovered it myself. Hooked in a big way! "The Walking Dead". This one took me a while to get into solely because I have read the comic since #1 and when the show came out I was all WTF?!? Did they just grab an issue from the Sookie arc and go from there? Seriously, if you like The Walking Dead but want it darker the comic (graphic novel? Does that sound more manly?) is not to missed. "Metal Hurlant Chronicles" Yeah, another comic based show but I loved Heavy Metal so...

marty922 Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 If you haven't watched The Wire, get on it. Be careful though, it's more addictive than crack. Also, The West Wing is a ripper show in my book. 1
markfwild Posted June 5, 2014 Posted June 5, 2014 Not sure if it classifies as reality or not but for a laugh Bogan Hunters might be worth a look! Might be a bit close to home for a Queenslander though!!! I know, coming from a Tasmanian this is rich!
