Have recently came up with an absolutely unscientific analysis of a person's quality of life represented by the vitola that you regularly have the time to smoke:-

1. Double corona - you live in an era gone with the wind

2. Corona gorda / piramide - life is good

3. Robusto - doing well

4. Corona - better than most

5. Petit corona - it's ok

6. Half corona - erm...I think it's ok

7. Mini / club - shitting bricks

So where do you think you are? :)

Is your analysis based on being single without children? It doesn't quite fit my bill

Between its ok and shitting bricks i guess... but that's not due to time constraints :P

1, 2, 3, 4, 5 for me. Single, no kids! Don't actually own any 6 or 7s...

maybe that's why I always want more after those minis :-)

1-6 here. My son is 2.5 yrs old and expecting the newborn in September. Though I am not a daily smoker. Mostly sat, sun when wife and my boy is sleeping after lunch. That gives me 2-3 hrs usually but nothing really happens if I take 4hrs out haha. I can fit in there almost anything what pops up in my mind. Rarely 5(pc) or 6(hc) during weekdays after 8o'clock but only when I am greedy and really wanna smoke ;) once in a blue moon.

7 could go anytime during my days but not keen on minis at all. Rather not to smoke ;)

Update: forgot to mention when I am on holiday or abroad in a better climate (literally anywhere else out of Iceland) then its like 2-3 cigars a day. Brand, size variety is high. So I buy anything among 1-6 just in case :D

A solid 2 for me, with the occasional outbreaks of 1. But that said, I am single, and my daughter is grown, and doing better than either of her parents.

Kids are grown and on their own, so I get the luxury of 1, 2, and 3. I usually get home from the office mid afternoon, I really try to set aside quality time for myself every day and enjoy a great smoke. I pull it off usually 5 or more days a week...which is pretty good.

I'm enjoying a Siglo VI as I read this so I guess it's going pretty good :)

Between 2-3 by myself. Add the woman into the mix and I can be anywhere from 2-7 depending on her spending habits. It's really unpredictable with the feminine force added into the equation.

As I am just engaged and have no kids and own my own business I am close to a 1 at the moment. Once I get married and have kids hopefully I will stay about 4 lol

Just bought a Czar Double Corona and Piramid sampler, so life is perfect and just as it's meant to be :)

I have plenty of time to smoke what I want but for the most part I stay in 4 & 5 because that's what I like!

Maybe it's a bit of ADD/ADHD. I loose interest after more than an hour or so.

I hope this is not a basis of the quality of life used to determine if the doctors unplug me from life support. If that's the case I'm worm food for sure.

Just a little more background as to how I came about with this little analysis. It is a very basic evaluation of your money vs your time vs your health in determining your quality of life. Many would fall into either:-

a ) have money but no time - which is why you'll end up smoking shorter cigars as you don't have time for longer ones

b ) have time but no money - which is why you smoke shorter cigars because you can't afford longer ones

c ) have time and money but can't smoke due to health reasons - which is why you'll cheat on a mini / club once a while

So in order to hit No. 1 on the list, you gotta have money, time and health. The responses so far are really interesting smile.png
