StingMeadery Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 Organic raw honey sweetened herbal teas with mine, usually fruit-based with hibiscus flowers, lemon balm, chamomile, peppermint, etc. with plenty of ice.My beekeeping company Sanctuary Honey, is one of only a few Certified Organic Manuka honey producers in NZ www.sanctuaryhoney.co.nz...guess I will be trying Manuka honey sweetened beverages as the flavour complexity of Manuka honey is very unique and complex, being not so floral or sweet. Maplepie Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 wait WHAT!? what has the world become when coffee is a non-alcoholic beverage?
Duxnutz Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 RASS, SLR anything or RyJ and diet Dr Pepper is one of my favs. Else coffee. General distrust for those that don't drink alcohol but to each their own!
Skyfall Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I don't have much experience in this realm outside of coffee, thai iced tea and hot coco, however I did have a Coors Light once with a cigar, I think that counts! PS. Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate is great with cigars!!!
JMacSr Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Avoid the artificial sweeteners ie diet soft drinks. I am a diet Coke junkie but don't enjoy them with a smoke Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Made sense to quit! 2

Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk I was first made aware of New Zealand's Manuka honey on this forum while reading, I believe, El Presidente's statements on another subject. That caught my interest. It was around 2012. I went on my favorite websites, Lucky Vitamin, Amazon, eVitamins, etc. and found it. "WOW!" I remember thinking, this sh*t's high! Nonetheless I ordered some and was highly impressed with how sweet and good it was! It seems, I've heard, that south east Asian and other regions in that areas' bees are a lot gentler and easier going in nature, is that true? I ordered some Killer Bee honey from awhile ago just out of curiosity. No, I didn't want to go on a murderous rampage (har har!) Very interesting that this is your specialty company! Don't forget to add the lemon for extra zing there!
Cmontoya79 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Coke, dr. Pepper, orange soda, horchata (Mexican cinnamon rice drink). Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
BlueDevil07 Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 Root beer or coffee with cream. Water most of them time, though.

Don't forget to add the lemon for extra zing there! Our bees are ultra gentle, we breed them for calm temperament and production. Manuka honey is typically slightly astringent/bitter. Our Organic Manuka honey has an unbelievable rich multi layered smooth complexity on the palate, as it contains a small proportion of Rewarewa honey also. Can't explain it...too unique ! All native honeys here are completely endemic to New Zealand and exist nowhere else in the world Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Smalls Posted April 7, 2014 Posted April 7, 2014 I find that Dr Pepper goes gery well with some cigars. Brings out that sour cherry note that some cc have. I have heard quite a few people say that their favorite drink with a cigar is Dr. Pepper. I enjoy it also from time to time. The Cherry flavored Dr. Pepper isn't bad either. My wife likes a really sweet bubbly rosato by Castello del Poggio. I will admit that I have enjoyed it too with a cigar. So I can see where people would like fruity sodas with them as well. Cheerwine is another good one. it is like a cherry coke except with more cherry in it than coke. I am not sure if it is available outside the US though.
Fosgate Posted April 8, 2014 Posted April 8, 2014 Just tried these the other day and seem promising if you want a little flavor in your water without the sugar and sweetness. Picked them up at the local Target store. http://www.lacroixwater.com/product/varieties/curate/ Seems some women are already onto some drink recipes with the stuff. Wonder what some of us guys can concoct. https://www.facebook.com/LaCroixCurate
