kiwicrusaders Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 My favourite pairing with a cigar sometimes even more than a single malt is a Christmas tea that I have. It's a flavored black tea with clove, orange peal and dome other bits. Absolutely phenomenal
oliverchang514 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 believe it or not, my favorite pairing besides a single malt is mcdonalds iced coffee.. it's $2 well spent with my cc
Hafner32 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Orange Soda, Cream Soda, Root Beer if I want a soda, bottled water, black coffee with a morning cigar or a caramel cappuccino if I am looking for something a bit sweeter.
RagingPorkBun Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Water is always good as it doesn't mess with the palate. However, if you're looking for non-alcoholic pairings, I'd suggest green tea, coffee, or cream soda (sugar in the soda helps if you're extremely sensitive to nicotine).
Newkarian Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I find that Dr Pepper goes gery well with some cigars. Brings out that sour cherry note that some cc have.

cigarbreak Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Second this. Cherry coke as well. They're both kinda hard to find in perth though We've got an abundance of Cherry Coke and Dr. Pepper here in Canada. Across the border they got Mr. Pibb. We can work out a trade lol j/k
Optic101 Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 For no alc. Coffee in the afternoon and water during evening/night time.

Phillys Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Either Bitter lemon (not available Canada so I am on a serious ration) or soda water with a plash of lime, and when I want to go crazy, I add a bit of fruit juice to my lime soda.
poisonowns Posted March 21, 2014 Author Posted March 21, 2014 Thanks for all your insight guys. I like the idea of people drinking certain drinks to enhance the different flavors. As of now I've pretty much stuck with coffee and water, but I'll look to experiment with the other suggestions.
cigarbreak Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Just tried a RASS with a Passion iced tea lemonade. Fantastic combo. Tart and tasty.
MrGinger Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Canada - Diet Pepsi with a wedge of lime Cuba - Tu Cola dietetica
tomj Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 I to am a non-drinker (no alcohol). Love this topic. In winter, I enjoy a hot chocolate with an evening cigar. Also enjoy a cigar with my morning coffee. Root beer and sparkling apple cider are also great with a cigar.
melies Posted March 21, 2014 Posted March 21, 2014 Iced tea, Tea (olong or even black blends), espresso, plain water (love a great cigar with water). But around 60% of the time with a SM or a Gin & Tonic
JHands Posted March 23, 2014 Posted March 23, 2014 Coke or dr pepper! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Guest robustog Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I enjoy a nice espresso with a cigar. If I am smoking a strong cigar on an empty stomach I'll sip a sweeter fruit juice like apple, orange or maybe cranberry.

Habana Mike Posted March 24, 2014 Posted March 24, 2014 I like to reach for a Mark Steffenhagen. I forget, is that iced tea with lemonade or lemonade with iced tea?
