My favourite pairing with a cigar sometimes even more than a single malt is a Christmas tea that I have. It's a flavored black tea with clove, orange peal and dome other bits. Absolutely phenomenal

Orange Soda, Cream Soda, Root Beer if I want a soda, bottled water, black coffee with a morning cigar or a caramel cappuccino if I am looking for something a bit sweeter.

Water is always good as it doesn't mess with the palate. However, if you're looking for non-alcoholic pairings, I'd suggest green tea, coffee, or cream soda (sugar in the soda helps if you're extremely sensitive to nicotine).

Either Bitter lemon (not available Canada so I am on a serious ration) or soda water with a plash of lime, and when I want to go crazy, I add a bit of fruit juice to my lime soda.

Thanks for all your insight guys. I like the idea of people drinking certain drinks to enhance the different flavors. As of now I've pretty much stuck with coffee and water, but I'll look to experiment with the other suggestions.

+1 on the hot chocolate, which gets even better if you put a shot of Bailey's (I know that's alcoholic but I couldn't resist!) in it.
