melies
I order a 25 SLB the other day from a trusted vendor (one of the really good ones) and I received a box that is legit (even the code passes perfectly in the habanos bar code check) but 2 things caught my eye.The first is that the box is not the prettiest Siglo VI I have ever had, I know that quality in Cohiba is all over the place so no biggie, that is the risk on buying blind. The second problem is that the band has the third row of dots over the gold line. Is this a case of Cuba Bering Cuba? Or should I get worried? Has anyone seen this in 2013 boxes?BTW, box code is AME - SEP 13Some pictures hereThanks for your help everybody
jacktarnold
I would say as long as you trust the vendor, it is another case of Cuba being Cuba.

thebigk
I have seen that on a CCE also on a CoRo The ones i have had the embossing is not the same either The A in Cohiba is almost flat to the band and the words Habana Cuba is not as bold Not saying it's a fake Like the rest said Cuba being Cuba I don't see them tossing a couple thousand bands just because the dots are off
oliverdst
I don't see them tossing a couple thousand bands just because the dots are off I think they even wouldn't receive from the supplier bands as ugly as that. Cigars, box and bands are bad in my opinion. Not saying they are fakes but they look bad. If you trust your vendor don't worry. Maybe send a couple to an experienced friend and he can help you. Maplepie
Seen the same with coros, sigiis, etc! Agree with above. All that matters is that you trust the vendor Sent from my BlackBerry Q10 using Tapatalk for Android.
MC4
Also, from the first picture, the cedar sheet, the top right hand corner does not have it cut off!

If you look closely, it does have it's cut off it's just an effect on the light

Actually the box is pretty good, and checks on the habanos site, just the product is sub par, I smoked one yesterday and yes it was a Siglo VI (a very young one that is) but pretty crappy ones... that´s what happens when you buy blind. FYI the vendor offered to change the box

mk05
Damn, that is one of the nicer box of Cohiba's I've seen. Perfectly rolled, those "off" cigars.
