Bclass1 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Tatuaje Noella & something we call a "nicorona"- a corona sized house blend of a cigar store in MN made with Nicaraguan tobacco. I don't know if you've had, but the Wet Wrap is a very good cigar..
Hemsworth Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 As far as reasonably priced goes, I have always enjoyed the Arturo Fuente Sun Grown Chateau. They can be had for about $90.00 per box of 20.
b4z00k4 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Regular NC rotation smokes: Tatuaje 7th Reserva(Pretty much love any Tat, though) Quesada Espana Fuente 858 Maduro Padron 1926 No. 6 Oliva Master Blends 3 Sent from my SCH-I545 using Tapatalk 1
aes8 Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Not to bash this thread... Fuente... Too expensive, period. There is no reason for a Super Belicoso to be upwards of $25.00 a stick. I must say, I've had a few good Fuentes here and there but my general consensus is that people pay for the rarity...I'd rather spend my money on Cohiba. You just did... Point well taken about high end Fuentes (and CC vs CC in general) however the 858s and Rosados are worth a try. The 858 are one of the very few NCs that improve with age.
finecigar Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Decently priced NCs I enjoy: AF short story Man of War puro autentico Illusione rothchild Herrara Esteli lonsdale Flor de las Antillas toro Tatuaje black petit lancero Nat Sherman timeless divino La Duena petit lancero Padilla Miami Churchill La Palina KB
subport Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 I'd go with anything by Don Pepin or Tatuaje or Oliva or Pedron or... lots of options outta there and I truly don't regret NC's...it is about 75%-25% to cubans but still there is a day when you more into some punchy, edgy flavour in your face imo...
TheLiquidGator Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 Decently priced NCs I enjoy: AF short story Man of War puro autentico Illusione rothchild Herrara Esteli lonsdale Flor de las Antillas toro Tatuaje black petit lancero Nat Sherman timeless divino La Duena petit lancero Padilla Miami Churchill La Palina KB These three are very good cigars. Illusione rothchild Herrara Esteli lonsdale Flor de las Antillas toro
CaptainQuintero Posted March 7, 2014 Posted March 7, 2014 No idea if they are a regular stock item but Illusione cg:4 Liga privada (the low RG ones) Winston Churchill Lancaster They totally ( and thoroughly enjoyably) fulfil my NC needs: rich, smooth, individualistic and decent prices.
Stogieninja Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 I'm a big fan of Tatuaje. The Regios and Noella Reserva from last year were fantastic! Love the Liga Privada Dirty Rat, T52, No9, an UF-13. Oliva V, especially the Lance and No4, as well as the annual maduros. Any Padron maduro Fuente Anejos and Hemingway maduros Quesada Espana Oh, and RoMa craft. Love their Intemperance BA XXI stuff. CI's Ramon Bueso Genesis might be the best deal out there. $2.50-$3 on cbid. Give them 6 months downtime and they stand up to most $7-15 sticks, IMHO.
mgravito Posted March 8, 2014 Posted March 8, 2014 Quesada Espana This. Especially the short robustos.
anjimj Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Padron Principes are my favorite, Epernay line, and Don Pepin lanceros
AbuAmelia Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 I've been smoking NC's for pretty much the last 15 years. Can't believe I never heard of this cigar until it was posted on another forum. This cigar is simply amazing. I've just ordered 3 boxes to keep. It has almost the same taste as a CC. Unbelievable. I really love this cigar. My 2nd one of the day. 1
jrb5783 Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Herrera esteli AF chateau natural Cabiguan Guapos junior Brickhouse
laficion Posted March 9, 2014 Posted March 9, 2014 Some can mention them all ,but for me ,outside of Tatuaje and Illusione, there are no other N.C.'s Worth It,and I mean A.Fuentes and Padrons also.
Torch Posted March 10, 2014 Posted March 10, 2014 Padron, Anejo Fuente, Tatuaje & Opus are the only non CC's that I have in my humidor.
bradbrennan Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 Anejo 46 at $8.50. At that price, Anejo is an exceptional value, I know the 55 will smoke at least two hours! 2
crasmith Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 If I must smoke something available in a US store it is usually a Padron. Same here. Maybe a good Fuente too.
kevblue18 Posted March 16, 2014 Posted March 16, 2014 My regulars being from the US are: Oliva V Maduro Oliva O Maduro Tatuaje Reserva Noellas (So Good!) Liga Privada T52 San Lotano Habano Casa Magna Colorado Don Pepin Garcia Blue Label Don Pepin Garcia Series JJ Maduro La Aroma De Cuba Mi Amor Rocky Patel Edge Maduro Anything by My Father I enjoy these cigars very much. Don't hate on NC Cigars if you are a CC only guy. There are some excellent cigars out there if you give them a shot.
kwsaw63 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I generally prefer CCs to NCs but the few NCs I would ensure to always have a few in my Humi are:- Oliva V Diesel Shorty LP9 Carlos Torano 1916 Cameroon AF Rosado
ramon_cojones Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Always interesting that these types of threads don't have many veteran posters in them as an observation.
aes8 Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 Always interesting that these types of threads don't have many veteran posters in them as an observation. Yes. Posts counts and responses (unless know from another forum) need to be considered together in order to help interpret the level of expertise, or lack thereof.
ramon_cojones Posted March 17, 2014 Posted March 17, 2014 I just assume it's guys transitioning to CCs hence why older guys are of no help LOL!! 1

Was a multiple box buy for me too. What vitola are you smoking?
