Help!!

I want to get one of these boxes from the current selections.

Never have had a good CoLa, all bad draws.

Never have even tried an Especial.

Which do you all recommend?

thanks

ooo ooooooo oooOOOOOO! I'd Say both good on their own Points but Always a Bad Draw on the Lancero? What year are you trying?

Cohiba from what I have learned from Rob and other members really boils down to this; how

long can you wait for the cigar to reach it's full potenial one, two, five or eight years thats what

it comes down to. Myself I have a hard time sitting on any smokes I buy from Rob (they are world class) and to be

honest I will only buy from CigarCzar for online CC's. The Monty's might be the best choice if you want to smoke

when young. But I'm not the best person to ask I don't have what it takes to age a Rob box of smokes.

Ask around there are many members that have much more knowledge than myself good luck.

Both are great - Cohiba is consistent, Montecristo is not. Montecristo Especial beats Cohiba Lancero in spades from the same factory - 2009 is a good example.

I would get a box of the Monte Especial that Rob posted on the Hand Picked thread. Smithy got me a box a couple of years ago and they are worth it.

Only had fresh-ish CoLa and a single of aged Monte Esp. so my opinion doesn't weigh much, but I would rather choose the Cohiba. Then again I'm biased towards Cohiba as it's my favorite marca.

Both when aged well can be delights. Personally I would choose the Cohiba... Though it's a bummer the price point. Definitely have to consider that.

Lanceros from 2001 were phenomenal!

I have had great experience with '01 Lanceros, and am still smoking them along with '99 and '00 Monte Esp. and Trini Fundi's.

There were certainly some junk cigars from those years, I guess that I never got saddled with them!
