Webbo Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I enjoy the PLPC flavour but not this size, of the larger PL RE options our host has available which, if any, would be the closest, Belicosos or Robusto?
Newkarian Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 In the video review Rob described the PL encanto as a larger more refined plpc. Maybe that would be a good choice for you. I just smoked one myself and it is a quality smoke. To my palate it had a floral sweetness that was very enjoyable.
Hafner32 Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 I personally enjoy all 3. I agree that the Robusto is probably smoking the best right now. They are smoking incredible... I've blown through half a cab in the past 2 months or so and just picked up another one from our host. However, that being said, I love the size of the encantos...While they are very good now, I think in a few years, they will be superb. If possible, I would pick up some Robustos to smoke now and some encantos to lay down for another year or two if possible. Enjoy
Lotusguy Posted December 24, 2013 Posted December 24, 2013 Of the PCC releases, without a doubt, the Belicosos Extra!
BradNC Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 I've tried the encantos and the robusto. Personally I prefer the robusto.
OkieJoe Posted December 25, 2013 Posted December 25, 2013 BE and robusto are a coin flip. Both are competitively priced and both have great PL flavor. Go with your favorite format.
cigcars Posted December 26, 2013 Posted December 26, 2013 *I would say go for the PL Encantos RE's. They are N-I-I-I-C-C-E!!!
sw15825 Posted December 27, 2013 Posted December 27, 2013 I have only smoked the belicosos from 2008. I really liked the few I have smoked. Truly the carmel flavors shine in the first half and just right amount of sweetness to strength imo.
