With Christams fast approaching I thought it would be fun to see what some of the members have their eyes on this year

Its also a good way to let the missus' know what you'd like and where to get it without ruining the suprise.

I know my missus often flicks through the forum under my login to see what i've been up too

Anyway...

Post up anything that is cigar related that you'd love Santa to leave in your stocking this year

I've had my eye on a couple of new cutters and lighters this year

The truth is it has been a very good year for cigars and life in general. I do have a yearning for a bottle of Lagavulin 16 year. I used to drink it regularly but when it hit $129.00 Canadian I stopped on principal. I think I will relax them at Xmas for a time.

I'm grabbig a bottle for the Missus this year

She's a big fan of it and it retails down under for around $100 a bottle

A bottle of Glenmorangie Signet. At 160 dollars US online not a cheap single malt. But I hear it is like drinking liquid gold.

A friend of mine who is a big scotch guy reckons there is no better scotch out there

Reckons Johnny Blue is dishwater compared to it

Although thats not much of a comparison...

Gee, prices are really high for you guys in Canada. Lagavulin 16 is only $79.85 at Dan Murphy's in Australia. Glad you've had a great year and I hope Santa brings that whisky.

Enjoy that pricing while it lasts.... It's more a function of the Aussie dollar. 3 years ago Lagavulin 16 was about $115 at Dans and $130 at other places.

Just bought house, have a baby on the way. The academy is going well.... Who could want more?

Had a chance to sample today. All butter and butterscotch... heat more than 46% would suggest, and a finish that went on and on. Very spendy in Canada @ $310.00 but very yummy!

On my Christmas list ... Peace on Earth.

Blessings all.

Last bottle I purchased in Calgary AB was about $85 at Costco. Will check current pricing when I head back for the holidays. Nice drink.

Is it wrong not to have a Christmas list? I struggle with it every year when my wife asks me for one (same with birthday). I love giving gifts in the Christmas season, but asking for things makes me feel greedy.

I would just like to see the look my wives face when I ask for a box of cigars. If looks could kill,I'd drop dead.If I were to ask for a cutter or lighter,I'd hear "You got enough lighters","You don't need another cigar cutter".However, that Swiss Army Knife with the triple cigar punch would be pretty cool to have.I think I'll ask her for that.Nope,on second thought,I'll just buy it myself and don't tell her I have it.
