CaptainQuintero Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 http://youtu.be/tPzRPga6uDg Seriously though, cheers smithy for capturing this but you should have been paying attention to the in flight safety video!
rckymtn22 Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Useless ba$t@rd.... nothing like doing the job twice.
canadianbeaver Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Actually , I have been thinking about cigar feet for some time (really weird I know but humor me). Even though our cigars are in closed boxes, they are often there for years and the feet are open and exposed to air. I find the first 1/4 -1/2 inch can be iffy and take while for the taste to even out. Why don't we cut that little end off as well as the cap? Signed, Foot Fetish
CaptainQuintero Posted June 19, 2013 Author Posted June 19, 2013 Really? I actually enjoy the first handful of puffs of a cigar more than any other part. Maybe it is the mindset, the fresh palate or the expectation, but I get a blast of flavour right off the bat that is not there later on. First third is almost always the most enjoyable for me too, it's the most sweet/creamy with my favourite cigars usually, sweet tooth have I. If I was into darker full bodied flavours the final third would be the best I guess Finding that balance between the two and still keeping a profile from the first third is a fun search, aged coro seem to do it the best for me
Edwhatever Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I don't know how to embed a video here, but this is a must watch! https://www.facebook...512006375531774 From inside a logistics company in Taiwan Maybe we should ship a steel anvil next time, break his back!
Habana Mike Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Flew through Guangzhou in February, glad I only had carry-on!
asmith Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Clearly it must have been the way the guys packed the cigars for the cracked feet.
jsoftz Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I saw this video a couple days ago and the FIRST thing that came to mind was "oh please don't let that happen to my cigars."

I usually find the first third, particularly the first few puffs, has the biggest blast of flavor. After the first half inch or so I find that things mellow down a bit. This isn't always the case, but I would say it plays out that way more often than not.
DeadmansPoint Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 I stood up from a patio chair to reach for my lighter, rolled my ankle, and broke my foot. The cigar had a broken foot too. It was destiny and that $%^er was the cause of it all.
SCgarman Posted June 19, 2013 Posted June 19, 2013 Funny if they really were mastercases of Habanos!! LOL

Fuzz Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 He must not get paid much. Dem workers need a union! He gets paid by how many cartons he moves, so this way he gets paid more!
CaptainQuintero Posted June 20, 2013 Author Posted June 20, 2013 It would be quicker and more accurate to get a decent rugger boot on and punt them straight into the hold!
mazolaman Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Hilarious, loved the guys cynical commentary...but not the Kenny G.. Now, where are those Ming vases I ordered?
DeadmansPoint Posted June 20, 2013 Posted June 20, 2013 Left or right? I am lying here with a cast on my left ankle. Left foot, 5th metatarsal. Such a dumb injury. I feel for you on your ankle; much mor significant than my boo-boo.
