vanbellc Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 One of my favorite days of the year! I've got a HdM Double Corona from 2009 on deck for when the leaders tee off. Anyone else having a special smoke today while watching the tournament?
jrb5783 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 not sure yet definitely smoking something got to keep my nerves down since watching tiger is nerve racking
Surucipe Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 My money was on Phil but that proved to be the wrong choice. Would love to see Westwood still charge to the front of the pack, but would also be happy to see Cabrera put on another geen jacket. TV is inside, smoking is on the deck, what a dilemma!!
riazp Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Not smoking since I've got father and uncle duties today. But I'm watching it for sure. Rooting for tiger but I'd rather see Rory fighting for the green jacket. He will have an off year getting use to his new equipment

Brought my tv out on the deck today also decided on an old unico that frank gave me at the mtl herf I've given up on tiger for today I'm pulling for Cabrera now
stogieluver Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Not necessarily a special smoke, but I smoked two CC's yesterday (HU Roy Rob & RASS), and today (BRC & RASS, probably). These are special to me because I don't usually go through my CC's at that rate in a weekend.
scradley Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Would love to see Day pull through and win it, such determination just can't seem to hold it together on Sundays!
Guest rob Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 I've given up on tiger...pulling for the Aussies Thankyou! I was pulling for Mike Weir back when he won
riazp Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Thankyou! I was pulling for Mike Weir back when he won Always liked Scott and Day. Good golfists lol.
dublin76 Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Aussies should be waking up excited as Day is in the mix. Should be a good finish. Cheers!
frenchkiwi Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Day and Scott - one step further then 2011? be fun to have a playoff Gotta soft spot for the old men though... Cabrera their rep right now
Murri Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Congrats to the first Aussie Masters winner. Excellent playoff win.
riazp Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Yes congrats to Adam Scott and the whole nation. Aussies must be very proud ATM. Great win he played brilliantly
investandprosper Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Knew he had it in him. Great player and ambassador of the game, congrats Adam!
scradley Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 Congratulations Aussies! Well deserved and it's been a long time coming. Enjoy the green jacket!
frenchkiwi Posted April 14, 2013 Posted April 14, 2013 great scott! showed real nerve for the win. gotta feel for him when he has to sit down and do that *quaint* interview for the jacket inside when he's so pumped up. that guy cabrera is a freak of nature though (that 1-iron off the tee!!).
Wil Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Great day for Australian golf. Congrats Adam - very much deserved!
Ken Gargett Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 terrific day with the telecast starting 4am here. bit early for a cigar. thought day had it till 16. would not have put much on scott but great win
Hubba Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 No other tourney compares to watching the Masters. The course is always beautiful.....great finish this year.
DougB Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 Congrats Adam Scott and Australia! Man what a finish.
vanbellc Posted April 15, 2013 Author Posted April 15, 2013 Congratulations to Adam Scott. Well played!
Ken Gargett Posted April 15, 2013 Posted April 15, 2013 interesting that scott missed a heap of putts during the round, by such tiny margins, and then sinks the two clutch putts he needed. after the collapse last year, i think a lot of people thought he was 'greg norman mark 2' but he has got the monkey off the back in a huge way. one to celebrate. for those not from oz, you might have heard a fan screaming "queenslander" as he walked to the play-off. it is a famous cry for all good qlders that comes from state of origin rugby league games against the hated southerners. day is another qlder and so was norman.
