Lant63 Posted April 11, 2013 Posted April 11, 2013 What are your guys' favorite REs I looked through a couple pages and saw topics about specific cigars but not really anything like this. Thanks guys!

Smallclub Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 (incidentally) I'm finishing a Fonseca Amateur RE France 2011… it's a very good cigar, with a simple but coherent aromatic palette. Much stronger than the regular Fonseca, and well priced at €9.50 ($12.5). Size is Gordito.
Overproof Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I've been enjoying pretty much everything from the Pacific Region, especially the Por Laranaga offerings. My favorites so far have been the Encantos and the Robustos. This
Jeremy Festa Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I had a Quai D'Orsay Robusto Emajador that was very memorable. Have one with a stout!
polarbear Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I enjoyed the RA Celistial Finos They're really starting to come alive now
srsMichael Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Really like the Bolivar Simones RE Canada and Diplo RE Spain
mb55317 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Ramon Allones Phoenicio is a fantastic cigar, RE for Lebanon
almudawi Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 Ramon Allones Phoenicio is a fantastic cigar, RE for Lebanon +1 .. But is becoming super rare and expensive though
coug28 Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 PL Regalias - very much preferred these to the 07 Robusto & the Ecantos. Also have quite enjoyed the LGC Gloriosos. Waiting to hear some more reviews of the new ERDM as those could be next.
maverickdrinker Posted April 12, 2013 Posted April 12, 2013 I enjoyed the RA Celistial Finos They're really starting to come alive now X2

cigcars Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Almost all Regionals from Canada and Asia are always great and right on target IMHO!
kuma Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 To be honest I have not had many RE's. A friend of mine in Spain sent me the new (I guess) RE Punch-Grand Robusto for Spain but I have not fired it up yet. Also sent were the Bolivar-108 RE for Spain which was ok, nothing special. Also sent were the Diplomaticos-Colleccion Privada RE Spain which are pretty good. I'm waiting for the Por Larranaga Legendarios RE Spain and the other new smoke for Spain the Sancho Panza-Quijote Edicion RE. Hopefully the last two of these RE's will be good.
kevinfj Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I got this one......as a whole they are disappointing. No wait.....they are terrible. Save your money and purchase some really enjoyable (non-hyped) regular production sticks. Thank you FJ
kuma Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 I would not say they are terrible but for the money I think a buyer of CC's would do better sticking to the tried and true smokes. The saving grace to all this is everything I purchased I only bought one box and that was the Diplomaticos the rest were single sticks. Oh yes, I also bought ten RA extras which were very good and price wise you can't get much cheaper unless you to Cuba which is hard for us in the states or go to Andorra were it is as cheap as Cuba with the largest humidor in the world, so I read. Some day I will make a detour from Barcelona and get to the cigar heaven in the mountains.
TheKosherStogie Posted April 13, 2013 Posted April 13, 2013 Bolivar B2 Canada and RA 2010 Canada Regionals are my two favorite regionals.
