Question about Boli Esp 2 RE Germany

I am not generally a follower of the RE/LE program because of price vs enjoyment. However I have recently been looking at these. I don't have access to singles to decide for myself so I would appreciate some advice.

I am a big fan of Bolivar and I recently started enjoying long skinnies when the mood strikes me.

So is the Bolivar Especiales No. 2 RE Germany faithful to the marca? If so I may consider this long skinny variation.

They are definitely boxworthy. One of my favorite RE's. Great draw and classic Boli flavor profile.

Love them as well. This is one of the RE that should be put into regular production. Very faithful to the Bolivar profile and great construction (at least the ones I've had from my box).

The Boli Especiales No. 2 is easily one of my favorite REs I've ever had! Unfortunately I've never been able to find a box just a few singles.. Highly recommend!

I see you already placed your order - but surprised I am the outlier here... I thought they were just ok. I would not regret owning a box, but the few I had were very good but not great. I really like the vitola and the marca, but they seemed a bit bland and just tasted of rough tobacco.

I think I have one single left... may have to give it a spin just to make sure I didn't assess it wrong, or maybe they have changed. Been about a year since I've had one.

I picked up a box on a recommendation and after 3 sticks ordered another. Very nice smoke And well worth the cost and space in your humidor

I regret not getting a box from a LCDH in Germany that would deduct VAT. That was about a year and half ago. I believe they were around 240 or so euros at the time.

Need some more ageing for my taste, but already the typical Bolivar taste with the finesse of the Delicados a successful RE regarding of what was probably intend. Can't go wrong with a (good) box imho.

smoked a few 2 weeks ago...coming along nicely...yet not going to open a box still in the tinfoil yet...a good smoke now with miles of improvment ahead if you are patient.
